I think Ghost Protocol is the best Mission Impossible of the lot. It grips you from beginning to end with high octane fuel filled action. The acting was great and is really quite funny at times especially with 'Sean of the Dead' Star Simon Pegg. The Scenes on the side of the tallest building in the world are breath taking and keep you on the edge of your seat. Put your reservations of Tom Cruise aside, he did really well in this action packed movie. The only flaw I noticed was, where were the people as Ethan Hunt scaled the side of the glass walled building, surely someone would have noticed? This is one movie in a series that has got better as they progress and not worse.

I originally went to this movie with apprehension and at first wondered if I had come into the wrong show until I saw Hugh Jackman at the wheel of his truck. I was expecting it to be far into the future but soon found it was in a time similar to ours, the not to distant future. It's a relatable world with characters not much different to us. Real Steel was a pleasant surprise and had a Disney flavour, it's really worth seeing. It has a great story line, interesting characters and great robot fighting scenes. I actually felt for the robots? They were well-done and they looked so real and you would hardly tell that it was all done by computers.
This movie is a heart felt father son story between and ex boxer Hugh Jackman and his son Dakota Goyo. I wouldn't be surprised is there is a sequel and I'd definetly go alone and see it. I went with 2 young boys 10 and 12 and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

"A Great Feel Good Movie"

ghotter wrote a comment about the movie Hanna
What can I say about Joe Wright's Hanna. Well what an amazing film, exuberating, well crafted and pulsing with energy. It's a gripping chase movie all the way through - the Music by the Chemical Brothers is brilliant- with Hanna's theme, The Devil is in the Details, Container Park and Escape Wavefold, just to name a few. The atmosphere is brilliant something like eXistenZ, with unusual sometimes freaky scenery: from the snows of the artic circle to Morocco, Container Parks and of course the abandoned Children's Theme Park in Germany. The German accents are well done by those who aren't even German by birth. The whistling song is so addictive, I've been whistling it for days. The acting by Saoirse Ronan , Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett are all very good. I want to see this film again and get the Chemical Brothers Soundtrack.

Joe Wright's "Hanna" is an exuberantly crafted chase thriller that pulses with energy from its adrenaline-pumping first minutes to its muted bang of a finish. Not as richly imagined as one would hope in the final estimation, but entirely gripping while it lasts, this futuristic fairy tale announces Wright as an outstanding director of action, and Saoirse Ronan, in the title role of a teenage assassin, again proves a consummate muse. At times suggesting the genesis of an arthouse "Bourne"-style franchise, Focus release will require critical support to hit that elusive sweet spot where pulpy and rarefied tastes occasionally converge.
