@corey With a budget of 12 million dollars, and earning nearly 100 million worldwide, it was a well enough profit to guarantee a sequel I guess.
No real spoiler here. Just speculation and thinking too deep into context of this after-credits scene.

@Sean-Ryan-Culligan ....Or James Bond is a Time-Lord. Ever thought of that?
@corey -True. I guess we will see what the future has in store for us.
@corey -If so, that will feel weird to me. I grew to liking Don Cheadle and especially Mark Ruffalo, but replacing Robert Downey jr will be jarring to watch since no one can portray Tony Stark like he does.

And if that is to happen, I expect an entirely NEW cast of Avengers in 10 years where the current actors are replaced completely.
@corey That idea could work. Seeing how Captain America: The Winter Soldier will feature Cap teamed up with Black Widow, I could see thim possibly doing that for future Phases.

@thedude1 The Iron Man films are done. I don't see the need for a 4th solo movie with a recast. It won't be the same. Having RDJ appear in Avengers sequels as a supporting role works for me.
Filmed with real 3D cameras and not post converted? Hells yeah!

@moviegeek Why is that Brad Bird never returns to direct a sequel to any of his movies?

@daveactor7 If it's Nolan or DC related, he hates it.
That was awesome! Sent chills down my spine, it was so good.

@thedude1 I don't see how Killian could be Fin Fang Foom. Is it because he breathed fire? That was actually from the Extremis comics. The part where he is breathing fire.

@c-a-r-t-m-a-n I know right? Who cares about what the haters have to say, this movie was awesome!
@slysnide The problem was that the film had so much context happening in a two hour run time. Noticed how rushed that ending was? There was hardly any explanation to Tony's surgery (even though thatwas touched more upon in the Chinese cut only).
@thedude1 I didn't dodge anything you said. I stick with my opinionated views and think what they did with the Mandarin was acceptable with me, and see nothing wrong with it. It was a new spin that was something bold to do. I understand some hard core comic book fans will be pissed off, while others like me who aren't that knowledgeable in Iron Man lore will like what they did. If you want the version of the Mandarin you hoped to of seen, go watch 2007's "The Invincible Iron Man."
