Whedon, wrote some good xmen stories in astonishing but when it comes to on screen so far I have not been hypnotized.

To add, I am not impressed with the new actor to play the Hulk, just same for Captain America, and Thor but we shall see.

The first Hulk, contained the essence of the character from the comic books, the second one was way, way off base. I am not saying the first one was perfect but it captured the Hulk that I know, just go to the Arizona scene with the tanks and Helicopters, that is so like the Hulk. Look at the second one, the only great scene was with the sonic attack on the Hulk. The main villain, was pale in comparison to the comic book, if the Hulk uses a thunder clap just to put out a fire but not shatter all the windows in the facility as well as making everyone temporary deaf, the hulk on the ground like some sumo wrestler. IMHO, did not work for me, everyone has their tastes but the second was just not up to it for me.

I liked the first better than the second one. I am seriously concerned about the direction of Marvel films, the Avengers is not going to have Eric Bana nor Edward Norton, seems to be a long list of betrayed actors (Howard Terrance, Wesley Snipes). Can Marvel ever be trusted?

It took 20 yrs to get to this point where the movie is now to be made. Hollywood, is such a strange place, when movies like the Fantastic four was made so quickly after the first one.

Another step backward, like the stupid last Hulk movie. Very sad to see, no independent type movies will be coming out of Marvel, just more Fantastic Four movies.
