I don't think they should have bothered picking up where the other pile of shit left off. AVP1 should be stricken from all of our memories forever. It was a crime against these two wonderful characters. This film however was better. It honored the characters a lot more especially the predator. It felt like a predator film. Special effects look better. Predators look like predators not football players. The thing that still sucks is these fuckers can't come up with an original idea to save their life. A small town in colorado. How many fucking movies start out in a small town. The xenomorphs are too alien for earth in the modern era. Heres a script:

In the distant future (after the aliens film) on a distant humid wet planet a weyland yutani mining colony has been in open revolt over intolerable living conditions. Predators are drawn to the conflict to hunt the combatants of both the revolt and the companies marines. Its been going on for a long time and its costing the company money. The resources are too valuable to abandon or risk destroying so in a last ditch effort the company decides to release it newest biological weapon Aliens. They believe they can control them; NOT. And there you have it; Bad ass future guns, space marines, predators, aliens. Now if a fat fucking gamer like me can come up with that why can't they?

The last one was such a dissapointment, I sincerely hope this one will be better. I still dont understand why they insist on staging the stories on earth. Why not some far off planet consistent with the comics, video games, and alien films where the priority was not allowing the xenomorphs to reach earth. How about some bad ass futuristic human weapons. Instead of just using human characters as fodder.
