1 Halloween, not to me

Ok so I have been a lurker. Until now I had to say something about Halloween. Goodness NO!!! I could of not been more let down. This movie was not bad per say but it was more like Michael Myers: Behind the Mask!!! I mean there was just too much room for humor and that killed it!!! I was under the impression it was set in the 70's but then a cell phone gets busted out during one of the sex scenes!!! I mean come on we are talking Michael Myers probably the best of all the serial killers!! I mean he has a method to his madness!!!! What took Michael Myers a whole night of killing and slashing in the first movie, barely took half of the time int this "remake". I am not a huge fan of horror but Halloween has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and it still makes me nervous to this day, I get spooked when I watch it!!! Not bashing Zombie here but, I can say he should stick to his style of fancy horror for this generation. I will try and clear my head of this movie before I watch the original again, some movies do NOT and I repeat do NOT to be remade!!! ..Nice try R Zombie but hands off Michael Myers...I am scared you will get us with a 2nd go round for Halloween 2!!!!
