As a Vampire Flick it sucked big time, no pun intended. As a romance, chick flick type of thing .... I have seen worse. So no doesn't work as a Vampire Flick, passable as a Love Story type of thing....

This film as a film was pretty lame. I personally thought the acting was dire and way over the top, as for scare factor well it just wasn't there. Another horror film that wasn't scary in the slightest....
