im a 31 year old adult.
im at work, if im online.
pretty much at this stage of my life my only hobbies include my bong and my dvd player.

some of my favorite directors include david cronenberg, david lynch, marty scorsese, terry gilliam, john carpenter, and jim jarmusch among others.
im not super into mainstream movies and while i may become less elitist about my opinions as i age i still harbor some elitist views about movies. these days i find myself more entertained by the products of companies like genius, magnolia, fox searchlight and dimension extreme than the likes of dreamworks, or universal or what have you.

I just did not care for the movie Joshua. I know there are a lot of people who really enjoyed it, but I was just not one of them. To me there was just something off about the film. I am not saying it was a bad film, I am just saying I did not personally like it.

Looks like we have the same plans for the weekend. Other than watching movies, I have my usual Saturday morning shopping trip. What movies do you plan on watching?

Sorry to be a disappointment, but I do not watch Futurama. Use to years ago, but haven't recently.

It is going to be 76 degrees here today, 79 tomorrow and 83 on Thursday, so of course it is going to be totally different by the weekend with a high of 54 - that is Texas for you.

I am doing pretty good today, just trying to get some things done at home. Not planning on going anywhere but to pick my older daughter up from school. Was thinking about maybe going by the used DVD place but have not decided if I am going to or just save my money for all the DVDs that come out next month.

I love going back and watching old movies like that and I have seen everyone that you mentioned. Not recently, but I remember all of them.

How is your day so far?

I can relate because my weekend was filled with coffee and energy drinks.

How is your day going so far? Have any plans for the evening? I think I will just relax and watch a movie or television.

I could hardly wait to see Hugh host the awards and recorded it so I could watch his performance again. I know that when people start singing it can get on people's nerves, but he is a talented performer and not a comedian so I think that is why they did it that way.

I had a pretty good weekend, busy but good. How was yours?

I am sorry, I miss read your question. I must have been tired this morning. You asked what I did when I worked from home, not looked for a home. Idiot. To answer your question, I did I guess what you would consider data entry. It wasn't going to make me rich, but I am pretty fast and since I got paid by the entry or piece, I did ok I guess.

I am going to a 'book swap' tomorrow morning so I will probably be on here real early, then not much during the day. I plan on going shopping after. I usually always go shopping on Saturday. So I guess you will have a pretty relaxing weekend.

Don't you know smoking is bad for you? Just kidding, I still have an occasional one. I try, but I just can't give up my one cigarette a day.

Don't worry about not getting back to me, I understand life can be busy. Are you looking for a house? I got lucky, I rented the house that I am living in for two years before purchasing. That way we knew exactly what needed to be done and we could ask for it to be repaired or taken off the price of the home. It is a very stressful thing, but I would be glad to answer any questions that you have, no matter how small. Remember, there are not any stupid questions, just stupid people. (Sounds terrible doesn't it?).

Since I am a stay-at-home mom, I do not leave the house very often either except for to/from school and a couple trips to the store, movie rental place or anything that my family needs me to do. Before my youngest was born (she's two), I worked at home and really enjoyed it. Haven't decided when I go back to work what I will be doing, but I have some time to make a decision.

Well I will be back a little later this afternoon, have to get busy with my typical stuff. Hopefully you will be around to chat later on.

No never heard of Rock Star, but Fort Worth is a big place. Plus I do not do the 'club scene' anymore now that I am married with two kids. That kind of puts a damper on things. But trust me when I say I have done my share of clubbing. And the weather is beautiful here today, partly cloudy and 74 degrees.

I buy some DVDs when they first come out and I can usually get them for about $15.00, but I am usually like you and wait until I can get them at the used place for $5.00 or cheaper.

Have any plans for the evening?

I hate that American Idol crap and everything associated with it. Fringe will be returning with new episodes in April, I know, it sucks. I guess they are busy filming new episodes.

Really liked Quarantine. I did not realize Rec was not available on a region 1 DVD. Well if I can't rent it I guess I will not be seeing it.

Hope you are having a good day!

I would not know what I would do without cable, but we watch a lot of it, so we get our money's worth.

Yes I have seen just about every zombie movie out there and Day of the Dead is one of my favorites too. Jeffrey Combs was great in the re-animator movies. He was born in 1954, so he probably would have been old enough for Day of the Dead, but what can you do?

I went ahead and bought Quarantine and Midnight Meat Train. I think I am going to like Quarantine, even though some people hated it. Have you seen either?

Sorry I did not realize you had not seen the last season of the Shield. I did not say anything that would spoil anything for you though.

That is the first time I have ever heard of Simon Baker creeping anyone out. I like the show, but I do not watch Monk or Psych. Use to watch Monk years ago, but I got bored with it. I do think Tony Shaloub is a good actor though.

How do you live without cable? I do not know what I would do without it and my DVR.

It is a shame The Shield had to end. My favorite season I think was the season that Glen Close was on the show. I think she is a great actress. I did not particularly like what Shane did in the final episode. Things involving children just bother me.

I love the show Fringe. It is my favorite along with Supernatural, The Mentalist, House and Terminator. I do have a lot of favorites, but those are my top five right now.

I really enjoyed Jay Mohr on Ghost Whisperer. But when he left and Jamie Kennedy came aboard I was unsure if I would continue to like the show, but he has grown on me. I would still like to see Jay come back though. I know what you mean about her wardrobe, but I think it is planned that way. There are some outfits that she has worn that were obviously for the male portion of the audience, but there are some that she wears that are absolutely gorgeous. I would not say it is my favorite show, but I have yet to miss an episode.

I do not watch Lost, I just couldn't get into it. But not every show is for everyone. Until Terminator switched to Friday the only other show I watched was Ghost Whisperer (another show that is not for everyone).

Well tonight is House and Paranormal State. I usually watch CSI Miami but it is a repeat tonight. Do you watch a lot of television during the week?
