Best trailer for the film so far.
I really enjoyed that trailer, I watched it twice and both times I actucally laughed out loud, and I really needed a good laugh. I think this will be funny, on par with pineapple express which I really liked.
It would be cool to see Sam Jackson participate in the show to some extent. Anybody catch him drop the f bomb on snl.
First off I don't think he really spoiled any thing, or at least nothing of importance. Secondly, having electro as a villian makes me think there will be a more sinister force either in the forefront or lurking in the shadows. personally I wouldn't mind too much if they didn't get into the green goblin story lines, though they likely will.
It would be awesome if they went for the Jacen solo/Darth Cadeus storyline, It's my favorite from the expanded univers, Although from the news we've been getting they say they're going with a fresh storyline. I like Feldmans spirit in getting a role, but I don't think of him as being Jacen solo. It would be cool if he got a role of some sort though.

Awesome, one of my favorite actors kicking ass today.
The kid from Chronicle could be good in this, he was also good in Lawless. The kid from Melancholia looks the part a bit more.
@gandoff2169 Vader was only less powerful because of the fact that he was mostly machine, that's why he couldn't use force lightning. Also if you like the expanded universe and novels he was unable to get over the fact he murdered his wife.
On a separate note, I would like to have seen a film about Leia/ Han and Luke/Mara jades children. One of my favorite characters/story lines was Jacen solo becoming Darth cadeus, but that was a huge story line. Cadeus was one of my favorite of the Sith and discovered more force abilities than almost anyone, though he was almost more of a dark jedi. As long as they have a bad ass Sith or 2 and great action/vfx I'm in.

At first i thought, "I'd rather see a Houdini bio pic", then i scrolled down and saw that they were going to make one. For some reason I'd like the latter to resemble The prestige in style and tone, that was an awesome film.
@gandoff2169, If I'm not mistaken the planet they were on was not the same planet that the Nostromo landed on in the original Alien, I believe they had Prometheus set on a different planet so we would get the idea that there were more installations on many other planets. Also the xenomorphs take on characteristics of their hosts which in this case was Shaw/Holloway and the engineer that is one reason the alien was different physically and i believe another reason for that being that the alien image has been used and dilluted so many time in the later sequels and spin offs, that they wanted something new and fresh. Prometheus really wasn't meant to be a prequel to Alien, but a film set in the same universe. I think they deliberately left out certain answers for two reasons .1 so they could be included to in the next film, and 2. because we were meant to come up with some of our own answers to the mythology. All in all I think it was an effective addition to the series.
So..... basically this is the same as any other movie with Jason Statham?
Not to trample on this guys memory, but at first glance, I thought this was the kid from "A History of Violence".
well at least we know james cameron will do anything to funding.
One of the things I love about Scorcsese is his ability to take a seemingly thin plot and make a wonderful story. a characteristic of a fine filmmaker.
this is definitely not a joke right?
