Certain films have shaped entire genres, have carved out a niche in our collective film histories. I say hands off those films. . no remaking Scarface, Full Metal Jacket, Alien, Blade Runner. Im sure everyone has their own list of great "Hands Off" films. . but another Scarface movie seems like a grab for money. What could possibly be added to the story?

Was'nt the story told in Mulholland Falls. The famous hat squad of L.A ( Nick Nolte, Chazz Palminteri. . . ) im sorry i thought Hollywood got over the re-make hole it was in?

Downey is the man dont get me wrong. . . . but casting errors nearly killed the first Vampire Chronicles. . . lets not start this new incarnation by repeating the same mistakes. This time they should get people that resemble the characters.

This fills me with the same dread as when i first heard Capt.America had been offered to Will Smith. I hope this is just a bad rumor as the Will Smith incident was.

Sad to see an actor as talented as Joaquin just walk away from the Hollywood game. i think actors like Joaquin and Daniel Day-Lewis, that actually stay in character throughout the principal shooting of a movie need to take breaks and have alot of space between movies or they burn out. He could also be fed up with the Hollywood machine. whatever the cause i wish him the best :)

Being the son of a Trekkie i am very interested in seeing this movie. . of course ill take Mom with me :)

R.I.P Paul Newman. This news sparked a conversation amongst my friends. Which actors Funeral would try to attend? Paul Newman was one of mine, he helped so many in this world i have feel i have to pay my respects in person.

I dont mind when a studio changes a story (Queen of the Damned, Clear and Present Danger etc. . ) its when they make character changes, thats when it irks me a little (Armand in Vampire Lestat for example was a horrible change)and i think Will Smith as Capt.America would be an Epic Fail.

I have to agree with you all :( that does suck, but at least he gave us a heads up. Im still interested to see what he managed to do in those working conditions. What kind of movie it will be. Or maybe ill wait till its on channel 5.

Outstanding actor, i hope he has a full recovery. He was great in "The Professional" but you should also check out "Ronin" where he acts along side Robert Deniro and Sean Bean.
