LaBoof has turned into a total douche, Bay replaced one of the hottest babes on the planet with a bobble-headed skeleton, and you can't have another flick in which the dang Autobots Win yet again!! Bay should've had the Decepts Win in the second flick. That's like freakin' Film Storytelling 101.. Idiots...

With Lungren in, I'm just curious who Carl Weathers pissed off to get excluded from this? The dude has a history with at lest both Stallone and Arny - and IMO way more name recognition that "Crews", who?

Sorry Paolo - but the first sentence of your "review" clearly illustrates the bias with which you approached the film, "...the fourth collaboration between ..., a director and comedian whose three previous collaborations were some highly quotable but ultimately dumb films...".

With such a predisposition, not only is it clear that you don't like the producers/writers/actor, but one wonders why you would even bother to see the movie.

The review screams of cinema elitism by the little scarf wearing square glasses Mac types who attempt to elevate their perceived social position though expressed negativity.

'The Other Guys' is a pretty damn good flick - it's not great, but who expects it to be? I expected a goofy, silly, may be stupid at times "Ferrell" movie, and that's just what it is; and better!

Please loosen the scarf, get some contacts, and step away from the Mac, you may learn to really enjoy a funny entertaining movie like 'The Other Guys'; the other reviewers on MovieWeb did, as did the 80% rating on Rotten 'matoes, as did the *full* theater of movie-goers which kept erupting with laughter at the time I saw it with my family. Good times!

Talk about "not getting it". FYI - the film is supPOSED to be filled with clichés and stereotypes; it's a comedy based on COP flicks!

Next you'll be complaining about all the violence in "Kill Bill".

I thought the fist one kicked pretty good @$$ - in a day when HWood makes three-quals of hot properties without blinking, why they're taking so much time to produce another seems a bit odd; 'specially since the actors in this seem to be getting busier and busier = more $$$.

Proving that there is no role too big or too small or too ignant as long as the money's right for Anthony Hopkins. The guys' actually pretty cool - he knows he's made an extremely comfortable living play acting and freely admits that most "actORHS!" take themselves way too stinking seriously for what it is.

Save yourself some money; just stay in the trailer catching yourself some WWE action.
