I think for a younger teenage Spider-Man they are making good choices with Josh and Logan. Both look like they could play spidey. The main issue i had with the other films was they made Spider-Man a total geek nerd which is not the case. Spider-Man is self confident and a jokester he's a smartass to me Tobey never brought that to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films. He always felt like a loner, loser, socially awkward Michael Cera type. Yes Peter is kind of like that at first but becomming Spider-Man changes him in a similar way that Steve Rogers changes when he becomes Captain america

Ben affleck played The Goblin

Nah man Nosferatu from the 70's was alright nobody knows about it because it was a German independant film by an art director (Werner Herzog) it's actually quite good

@Vanboy Batman Begins is by technicality a reboot which is a fancy word for remake it's a new film about a character previously told on screen. I wouldn't consider it a remake but this article is considering adaptations and reboots as remakes so i'm just stating that there are as many good as there are bad. Sling Blade is technically a remake of Billy Bob's short film. I guess that would count District 9 too. Nosferatu was remade i am not referring to Shadow Of The Vampire (great film by the way) i'm referring to the 1970's remake done by german filmmaker Werner Herzog (the director of the Bad Lietenant remake and Rescue Dawn)

People here's the thing Logan Lerman is a talented young actor, who is just starting out and hasn't had too many roles.He's fantastic in The Butterfly Effect, Meet Bill, and 3:10 To Yuma. He has the perfect look for a late teenage Spider-Man fyi to you poser fans that say he's too skinny, or nerdy looking guess what Parker's always been a skinny superhero his genius mentality was always his real attribute. People said similar things when these guys were cast and the world was proven wrong

Everyone got excited for Christian Bale as John Connor, Ray Stevenson as Punisher, and Jim Carey as Riddler but hey those movies all sucked and those actors who were thought to be perfect for the role were either boring or hammed it up. Give this a chance it's a rookie director with a good film debut on his belt, and a young but promising new actor you never know guys.
