Freakin' A... Darabont is excellent. Walking Dead isn't the same without him. This will be good if TNT doesn't make it too mild.

I freaking hate spoilers. I've been nervous to read the news on MovieWeb because of the Dark Knight Rises headlines. The last one with the kidnapping really angered me. Do whatever necessary to eliminate spoilers.

Milch does write excellent dialogue but his shows keep getting cancelled by HBO. Deadwood was great. John from Cincinnati was okay. Lucky looks good but .....?

Didn't the President talk about a new law against frivolous lawsuits in the last State of the Union? I thought people couldn't do sh*t like this anymore.

I just watched Red State on demand. It was good. Unlike anything Kevin has ever done. It's strange that he finally makes a serious movie and announces a retirement that probably won't last. But it was worth the $11 to sit at home, alone and watch it in Hi Def. I hope more theatrical films do this.

wrote a comment about the news item Josh Brolin Takes Oldboy
I think this story is too off-putting for American audiences. I like Josh Brolin but I think it'll be weird with an accessible actor like him playing this character. I don't know about Spike Lee doing it either. His movies are hit and miss for me. Some are good and others are too self indulgent. And this is one foreign film I'd like to stay as is. Not remade. @basquat. Word on Ian McShane. He would be good in this.

wrote a comment about the news item NBC Fall 2011 TV Posters
None of these new shows are going to make it. I like Arnett and Applegate but that show doesn't fit into the rest of the comedy lineup. Same with Azaria's new show. Most of NBC comedy is geared toward 20 year olds and these two are for 40 year olds. Whitney just isn't going to be funny. And Prime Suspect should be on TNT with The Closer, not NBC.

I actually liked the first Clue movie. I like that mansion setting. Gore Verbinski is a great director. If anyone can make this a good movie....

Put it back on HBO and bring the crypt keeper back. The best part was the opening credits and the prologue before the episode.
