granted i like dark movies (sin city and 300 have thier place) but be carefull who you turn into heroes.

why is it 20 year olds seem to have no taste whatsoever and i see sh*t reboot after sh*t reboot with 20 year olds acting like its the greatest thing since gone with the wind and i see all special effects movies with no heart (something batman sadly lacks, a hero to rootfor) just like the terrible watchmen in wich no one acts heroic and everyone is depressing. im tired of dark depressing narcissistic anti heroes that no one cares about and we wonder why franchises tank (like the new bond for instance wich is dark, and sucks).

What is the big hype. I have sympathy for Heath in some ways for dying doing production of a movie but Im also not going to biased because of it. Heath didnt do anything original or new that Jack Nicholson didnt (and jack did more btw having a truely grotesque and funny joker at the same time). Its pretty sad when were talking about rebooting a reboot. Reboots are down below sequels and book to movies in my opinion for quality entertainment (equaling tv food infomertials and wwf wrestling have more originaly than reboots). Since terminator salvation and Bales cussing out of the movie worker (when he was abviously coked out) and lying about it saying because sarah connor was crazy and he was just "getting into the part", i wont watch another bale movie unless he plays a snide villan (himself)lol. Batman needs to go back to Micheal Keaton for gods sake (or Clooney) and they need to bring back burtons music (music being 89% of why franchises suck after dropping great music (terminator, superman, star trek, james bond). I for one am so rebooted out im banning watching anymore. rebooters are like the ultimate no talent (and hollywood make such a deal about copying movies, aparently not when it comes to remaking them lol).

alienating fans of the original series is platinum dunes huge mistake as well as alienating its makers assuming something wrong with it. thier are 8 nightmare sequels and 6 starwars sequels, nightmare is just as loved with teens growing up as it taught them to deal with tough issues, i think platinum dunes owes original nightmare fans some sort of apology in order for the franchise to be successful. fans feel like someone has sh*t in thier mouth and are bright enough to realize when someone is trying to make a demographic buck.its not about hate, its about treating a franchise with respect.

for those who want to come in here and bash robert englund i have this to say, robert is as much loved as boris karloff was for frankenstein by fans around the world. Children still wear frankenstein masks made in karloff's image, not robert deniro's. When all is said and done you are going to end up with jackie hailey immatating robert englund playing freddy in order for this franchise to succede with them stating it. Robert was not asked to play this according to his myspace fanclub and official website. we could have just had the real fred kruger instead of a cheap immatation.

and yes he was riddler in an earlier batman still better cast as joker

recast, no brokeback mountain joker, no micheal jackson pedo freddy. RECAST! I still think Jim Carrey would make a pimp ass joker this time around he could always be in the shadows. they need to reboot batman and make an R rated hardcore batman instead of this crap. Bring back burtons music make it like arkham asylum graphic novel.

this is a little late, that would have been cool about 5 years ago when this was hot lol. what next a sequel to wild wild west? LOL. Independence day was great because it took place and was shown on the 4th, it brought in military people to see it just because of that wich is why it made money, great product placement. how they can repeat that is beyond me and independence day was at least a better movie than the terrible movie reboot of superman emp.

why they did not go the route of having the hobgoblin in full costume instead of marty mcfly as goblins son in 3 just ruined the series for me. I hate the blond chick and kristen dunsts comments about her character and feelings toward the franchise turn me off.

reboot, bring back the great music from superman 1 and 2 or this franchise will still suck, stop removing music from franchises (terminator/star trek/bond et). lets get shia lebouf to play superman ^_^ im jking. Im suprised micheal gay hasnt bought this franchise as well. Singers take was horrible and watered down just like the x-men movie (esp stupid for killing the lead x-men) despite great cast placement for proffesor xavier and magneto and wolverine. xmen is in no way comparable to the great comic. neither was returns although xmen movies are like citizen kane compared to superman returns. Just bring superman music back, all you have to do. Have an actual comic artist start designing sets and costumes for these movies and we wont have weak watered down superhero movies.

also please tell me your not doing the origin scene in the trailer (copied from freddy vs. jason opening except the run to the boiler) at the beggining of the movie, it will completely ruin the movie as the great thing about the original was it was a detective movie, not knowing what freddy was an hour into it was what made it great. at least we wont have of mice and men retarded freddy. ^_^ ever compare similarities to jackie and micheal jackson..high pitch squeeky voice, burn victim, fedora, accused molestor (jackie plays molesters), one glove..schmon! hoee. just say no to pedofreddy.
