War of Gods Becomes Dawn of War
I think they've changed the name to avoid comparisons with CLASH OF THE TITANS. Tarsem is a visual master genius, a director who paints his movies using camera as the painting brush, so I expect this movie...
Charlize Theron to Star in Mad Max 4?
Tom Hardy is amazing actor, he could use this role to get more attention in Hollywood....
Tahar Rahim Joins The Eagle of the Ninth
He is a very talented young actor, can't wait to see this Roman epic with such a great and attractive cast....
6 New Legion Character Banners
Cool posters, especially the ones with angels. Can't wait to see this film finally....
Jolene Blalock Joins Legend of the Seeker
every nerd's dream come true :)) Can't wait....
Lars Von Trier Goes Sci Fi with Planet Melancholia
it sounds like his autobiographic movie :)...

I know that the new thing is Facebook but several people who are on here wanted me to create a page so we could IM. I will probably eventually have a Facebook but these things are just so much work. My oldest daughter even told me that myspace was not 'cool' anymore.

Yes I worked in an office for years, it has just been a little over two and 1/2 years since I have been a stay-at-home mom. To be honest, going to work was easier than staying home and I miss the interaction with adults. But it is all worth it and I do feel lucky for being able to stay home.

Do you have any big plans for the weekend?

I do every once in awhile, but just never got in the habit of it. Maybe I worked in an office too long and got too use to doing correspondence. I never got use to doing the LOL stuff either. Truth be known it took me a while to figure out what all the text type abbreviations meant.

I have had an extremely busy week and have not had much time to spend on the computer at all. Today I am very tired, it was one of those nights. Hopefully I will be able to rest a little today so that I might get back to my cheerful self by this evening.

Sounds like you have been busy. It actually has been cooler here this week which is a good thing. Still in the 90's but at least it hasn't gone over 100 all week.

We have to have passports now and so that is an additional $100 for adults and about $35 to $50 for children. So that adds a little expense and airfare right now is unbelievable. Say I wanted to go to Greece, for the four of us it would be around $6,000. So until my husband doubles his salary or I win the lottery, it does not look like I will be going. Maybe one day when the kids are grown just me and my husband can afford to go. Until then I will just go to destinations I can drive to and where I know someone so I do not have to pay for lodging.

Well it sounds like you have a lot to keep you busy this summer. I appreciate you putting me on the update list even though I do check the site daily. It will let me know if anything happens after I check it.

I have been out of Texas many times since I moved here but not on any type of trip that I would consider overseas even though I have been to Hawaii and Bahamas twice. Those are just too close to the U.S. to be considered overseas. If I could go anywhere in the world I think my first choice would be Greece. I have just always wanted to go there since I was little. But if I do ever get to go it will be a long time in the future because it is so expensive to travel.

We have been lucky as well when it comes to the swine flu. I do not think it has become as big of a epidemic as they originally thought it would. At least not here in the States. Is there lots of problems with it where you are?

As far as the new shows there are a couple. The one I am looking forward to the most is Three Rivers with Alex O'Loughlin. I have missed seeing him since a show called Moonlight was cancelled. The other ones I am going to check out are The Vampire Diaries and The Forgotten. I think that will be all I can handle since I watch so many other shows.

I can understand why you would not want to go to an outside festival. It was, or is, 105 today here. I like the ones that are in the fall when it is about 60 degrees out.

As far as the cinema the last one I went to see was Terminator Salvation. Next weekend I plan on taking my oldest daughter to see the new Harry Potter.

Good afternoon, well it is probably not afternoon where you are. Everything and everyone are doing well. I will get to The Tudors and Rome, right now I am watching a series called Blood Ties which was a vampire series on Lifetime network. Even though I watch a lot of television there is so much out there that I have a lot of catching up to do. What autumn programs are you thinking of? I watch a lot of television so it would be hard to list all of them. Are you meaning new ones?

It has been very hot here as well, it is 102 degrees here today and the a/c is having trouble keeping up. Can't do much outside because of the heat and pollen in the air. Went shopping today and gave me a headache, think it is the ragweed.

What has been going on with you lately? I have been very busy with just life, but that is ok with me. I joined Netflix (I am sure you know what that is) and I am very excited because now I can finally rent some of the series that I have been wanting to see. I have been wanting to see the first three seasons of The Tudors so I can begin to watch the new season. I am also looking forward to renting Rome as well.

Hope things are going good with you and you are not too busy. Holiday weekend for us, July 4th, so I think I am going to stay around the house and try to avoid the crowds, crazies and drunks.

Oh my goodness, your town is absolutely beautiful, wonderful architecture. I like the fact everything looks so different and it is not all the same style and colors. Are they just as fascinating inside as they are outside? I am sure you have a lot of beautiful landscapes in the rural part of town too. That is one thing I miss about living in the city.

Your town sounds like a place I would really enjoy. I do not have anything like that here and it is a shame. I have to watch DVDs in order to see stuff like that. I own quite a few of the 'Visions of' DVDs.

Hope you are having a great week, what are you planning for the weekend? I know you have something going on right?

What a shame you do not have at least a Target, I think you would like it. You must have something similar though. Or do you have to go to several different stores to buy all your items? I like the fact that I can buy books, DVDs, shoes, clothes, toys and then groceries all in the same place.

What's the new book going to be about?

The first time I watched The Fountain I did not like it, but I have since watched it a couple of times and now I really enjoy it. It is not necessarily my kind of film because it is so confusing the first time through, but now I like it quite a bit. Went shopping today as I usually do on Saturday morning. We went to the mall to get the little one some sandals and then went to Target. Do you have Target or Wal-Mart where you are?

A new season of True Blood starts tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. I did not really like it after the first episode but decided to give it another chance and now I really enjoy it. It is definitely an 'adult' vampire series.

So it is hot there, it is here as well. I am not looking forward to the triple digit temperatures that I know are coming very soon, possibly even starting tomorrow. We had bad storms for most of the morning yesterday, but we were lucky, no damage. So you have been busy writing I see.

Almost forgot, Star Trek finally broke the $200 million mark in the US. I predict the next 'big' film here will be Transformers 2.

No plans for the summer other than enjoying the fact I do not have so much to do. I can understand the beach thing because I am the same way. I almost can't stand it having to sit with my little one in the wading pool. I do not like the heat, I would rather it be snowing. I know it is hot in Texas and I have lived here a long time but I still don't like the real hot weather when every day is 100 degrees.

Now that school is out I will have some more time and I will be visiting you site more often. I just have been swamped lately and have not had much spare time at all.

You will be getting a friend request from Shelleynumber2, it is me so please accept so we can chat back and forth. I am having problems with my original profile, I can't access it most of the time, so I created a new one just for comments. I will be keeping my original for reviews and Movieweb comments though.

Hope you are doing well? Have any plans this summer?

I think the big one is going to be Transformers that comes out next month followed by Harry Potter. At least that is what everyone is predicting.

I continue to have problems accessing my profile page so that is what took me so long to respond, I do apologize.

Thank you for the site, I will comment later on today. I have always loved the horror genre. It started when I was a kid and would stay up late with my dad watching them. I guess it just stuck and it remains my favorite genre to this day. Everyone gives me a hard time about it, but I will probably never change.

If you ever want to look up box office numbers, go to boxofficemojo.com it is a great site filled with imformation. So far Wolverine has made $310 million worldwide, Star Trek $267 million, Watchmen $187 million and Terminator has yet to be released in any place but the US but I am sure it will make more than $200 million when it is all said and done.

I not only watched Outlander, I bought it and it is even better the second time around. So many more things come to light when you watch it again. I will probably watch it a third time over this long weekend. Going to see Terminator Salvation tomorrow. What plans do you have for this weekend?

The Cell is one of my all time favorite films but I have never seen The Fall. I will have to put that on my 'must get' movie list. I am almost due a trip to the used DVD store. I am watching Outlander this evening so I will let you know what I think.

Sorry I did not leave a comment yet on the Rufus Sewell film, but I have just been swamped. Just got home from the store, had to go get the DVDs that came out today and they did not have Outlander so I went to two more stores until I found it.

I do not know really what to think about Thor. I guess we will just have to see on that one. I am getting excited about Clash of the Titans though, I think it is going to be great.

Here I am in all my glory. My hair is darker now, dark red to be exact. You can tell I am not one of those women who wear a lot of makeup. I guess I am going to have to get my picture professionally taken soon. It has been a long time. Maybe I will make it a family affair.

Did you have a good weekend?

I heard about the lead singer of Depeche Mode, what a shame and how disappointing for the ticket holders.

This weekend has gone well and pretty normal. I did find some pictures of myself though that I will be posting tomorrow. I had to go back a few years to find ones with just me in them. The recent ones all have a friend or my daughters in them. If I am going to post a picture I want it to be of just me. I have not had my picture taken professionally in a lot of years but the pictures I found are good considering they were just taken with a regular camera.
