You can't blame the suits for all the remakes, its us who keep watching that soulless crap, whatever they put in front of ya, the hysteria of america.

Red Dawn was a good movie widome. I know it seems cheesy now, but you never saw anything like it back then. I mean the only other form of russian invasion movies at the time were coming from Chuck Norris. Red Dawn doesn't need an update cause the idea of invasion in america right now is just ridiculous. I mean no country has the power to do it, except China, and maybe then you'd have a story, but what Hollywood studio would sanction a movie like that?

Red Dawn remake, how? It was all about the cold war. What, are we gonna pretend that some middle eastern invasion is gonna force our government out of some midwestern town. Unbelievable! And Robocop? How can you even attept a remake at that? Forget the sequels, the original is classic, of its time, and nearly perfect piece of action satire. It can't be improved upon! Everyone on here bitches about these remakes, but you're the same morons who go see these movies in droves.

Jan de Bont didn't direct the first movie, Kathryn Bigelow did, so its not like its gonna be the same movie, cause as good a DP Jan was, he's a no talent hack of a director who got lucky with Speed.
