One of my favourite repartee moments is the "he's adopted" part lol. Totally great movie. The fact that in a movie that was "only" 2 hours and 40 minutes long, Whedon (Who I'm not a fan of) managed to give each and every cast member more than enough screen time and back story, without it feeling rushed or simplistic or condescending. It also makes me watch the previous movies with new eyes, knowing that they are followed by this awesome ensemble movie. Each cast member was perfect. Evans is a wonderful, apple-pie all American Cap, Hemsworth is spot on as Thor - a role that could easily have become a piece of over-reaching over-acting and Ruffalo was a fantastic Banner/Hulk. I liked his line where we learned his "secret" to keeping Hulk dormant "I'm always angry". And Downey Jr? Well, I don't think we even need to discuss how perfect he is as Ironman. And the movie was FUNNY. I loved how funny it was, without it becoming a comedy. And, yeah, I'm so bummed about Coulson. Sad that we won't see him in any more movies. Whedon - you bastard.

@moviemaniac - Amen to that! Roll on Release Day!

Come on MovieWeb - really? The figure is obviously wearing a jumpsuit. I don't recall any of the aliens ever wearing jumpsuits.

The Space Jockey is huge and in no way human size.

It may be Fassbender since, unlike @thedarkknight23 , I can't make out who those blurry figures, in the background, actually are.

However, my guess - given the giant "human" head statute is that it's someone connected to whatever craft they're exploring. Not alien, probably human.

Eh.
The beginning looks like the Transformers entrance, the end looks like the Lord of the Rings demon, and that god-awful Rosamund Pike and her forced, twee acting...

How do you take a corny, cheesy, b-grade 1980s sword & sandals flick....and MAKE IT WORSE? TWICE??
Gaaak. Just be OVER already.

@bawnian-dexeus - Understandable. We can just say that you were referencing the "first commercial movie screening", as that what it was.

If it's before the events of 300, is Gerry Butler returning? Or are we meant to believe it's a different 300? Sigh...

And the Roundhay Garden Scene was made in 1888.

@bawnian-dexeus - The Lumieres train movie was made in 1895 - The Horse in Motion was made in 1878.

Eh. The way you guys were posting, I was expecting something exciting. And what a stupid tagline - we already know there wasn't 'just one'. Hence the other guys all sent to kill Bourne....

@jasonkat - I don't know. By the looks of that car scene, I think Brucie looks like he ends up with a bullet in his head pretty quick.

I bet Sig. Weaver wouldn't be thrilled with that poster lol.

He may a jew-hating, racist drunk - but if he gives us a good movie, I'll still pay my money to see it.

@SpaceCowboy Not if the trailers are anything to go by, not really. It's being played a comedy (obviously, 2 grown men posing as high school students and only getting the undercover gig because they suck as cops) and not the overly-serious tone of the tv series.

Smells cheesy to me...

Seen a couple of trailers and it looks f*cking hilarious.

And most of you know how I feel about these remakes and tv-to-movie adapts..,
