MW - the actuals are in. It's $207.4 million total.

Yeah, I still don't understand the comparisons. Two completely different tones for 2 completely different approaches to 2 completely different Superhero movies.
Fine with me. I'm sick of her already.

And, MW, proof-read. This is an article about how she is NOT in IM3 - you then finish the article by listing her in the cast.
@bawnian-dexeus Really? Your name is seems so familiar. Oh well - Hi!

I'm kind of bummed that Norton didn't play Hulk - what an awesome addition to the cast, and can you imagine the to-and-fro between him and Downey Jr? Wow. But Ruffalo was great. As men trying to keep a lid on intense rage least it wreck the world, they're both different but just as good.

@SpaceCowboy Oh haha - d'oh.
I'm excited by the fact that Francis Lawrence is directing. It will be interesting.

@SpaceCowboy Why would Ruffalo not be in it? Firstly, he's signed a 7 or 10 picture deal with the studio - Id assume at least half of those would be Avenger-related stuff, and secondly - with The Avengers now out, it would be ludicrous to have another actor step in to play the Hulk and then have Ruffalo play him in any Avenger movies.
I quite enjoyed The Hulk...
I'm going to say a $160 million opening weekend, with a nudging possibility of hitting $170 million.
@narrator No, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a big group of about 25 go to a midnight screening because we had a good friend play a pretty decent role (not huge, just one of the supporting cast). But Id never heard of the books and wasn't expecting anything. I also prefer to go into a movie with no expectations.
@thesymbiote Duuude...I'm a Batman fan. But, as you can probably tell from my posts, I'm not even going to begin to try and make comparisions. I know I'll love both. So you actually mean "some" Batman lunatic-fanatics...right?

@Kayje-Nogue Dude what are you talking about? The Hulk IS in The Avengers movie. Also, Norton was replaced because reportedly there was a negotiations dispute about money. Or something. No one's completely sure.
@Joshua-A-Tecumseh I think most of us know that the final (sob) Nolan/Bale Batman will be hard to beat this year. But, like you said, who cares? Enjoy ALL the movies.
@ejk1 Yeah, if movies were really to "compete" against each other, they wouldn't move release dates out of each other's way. they'd just release them all on the same weekend and get the score cards out. I remember when The Mummy, The Matrix and the "first" Star Wars "sequel were all released on 3 consecutive weekends and there was a huge debate about which would be better and who would make the most money and what would fail. Well, guess what guys? Me and every other person went and saw all THREE. (And then that sh*tty Star Wars movie made too much money...) There's really no competition because mostly the same people will go see every "comic book" movie that comes out. Warners isn't worried, Disney's not worried. They're all raking in / will rake in the cash.
@gandoff2169 Yeah, pretty sure they only one The Avengers movie playing lol. Like i said - to ME, it seemed at times to be Iron man and his sidekicks.
@ejk1 Thumbs up. Spoken like a true film fan.
Ruffalo did quite well. He seemed to me a man who was simmering just below the surface, using most of his energy to keep The Hulk at bay. His line about his secret made a lot of sense to me.
