Hows that banner going for ya?
So, you don't want to be an Honorary bender? You didn't want to use an Avatar: The Last Airbender related pic?
It's all good if you don't. Consider yourself Lotused! :P
Welcome to "thelastairbenderfans@movieweb", my friend.
How's the banner coming ;)
Find and save an Avatar(Airbender) related picture that you want to use and go to bannermaker.com. Select the Avatar related picture, upload your picture, and follow the tabs. You may need to play around with it first to get a hang of it, but you will. I did.
You are free to make your banner however you wish. See The Fallen's and Vampire2000's banners, as well as mine, for an idea. Also, write on your banner what open position you want to have. All of the top spots are filled, but we still have Honorary Air-Water-Earth-Fire benders, and those who join after that will simply be a Member of the White Lotus. Write your position near the bottom with "thelastairbenderfans@movieweb" beneath that. Then, copy your code and past it in the "about me" section of your Movieweb profile. Place your banner somewhere on your page, preferably up top. That way, everyone who sees your page will know that you are a true Avatard. Spread the word and discuss any Airbender related post that you see on Movieweb.
My job as president is to inform you whenever ANY news about this film comes to light.
Sound good? Questions?
Also, based on the picture that you select, it will determine what nation you represent ;)
When I see your banner, you're name will appear on my collection of Movieweb Avatards :)
Here are some more detailed instructions if you find yourself having troubles making the banner.
Copy and paste this in your web browser...
http://www.mybannermaker.com/
It should take you to a web site called "my Banner Maker" and it should look green and black with a big VIP on the upper left side. Don't worry about that. There are 6 tabs that should be in the middle of your screen: Size, Background, Text, Border, Effects, and Save.
Follow the tabs in order and follow the instructions for each tab. Under Text, you have 4 lines to write text and you can change it's color, font, size, and position by clicking on the box associated with the line of text that you want to use. The default color is white (*ffffff). Try a darker color. Click on the *ffffff and it will show you a box of different color variants. Click on whichever you want. Your banner will be conveniently displayed above, no matter what tab you're on, so you can see the changes as you make them. Border and Effects are optional. After that, save it, copy the code, and paste in the "About Me" section of your "edit profile" on Movieweb.
Good luck. Let me know if you need further help.
