A very sad movie with only a few main characters, that all seem to be alone and can't find anyone to save them from there drab and boring life. They all need a hobby. I'm so tired of the movies that you have to read. If I was into that I would just go to a film festival.

If you are in the mood for a funny fantasy love story this is the film you. Guys don't get turned off by the description there is enough action comedy and not to mention lots of eye candy with Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer to keep you entertained throughout. The cinematography is dead on and keeps with the feel of the film...nothing about the film seems drab or would make you want to fall a sleep. It is engaging and funny from moment one, original, and well-acted. Not knowing what to expect in a movie can be so pleasant if the surprise is worthwhile. And for this one, it certainly was.

Why are people giving it bad reviews...? The movie was good, entertaining and very family orientated (No Gore/blood - no nudity). Granted, it's no Troy, 300 or King Arthur, so if you're looking for some epic battle with plenty of digital affects then this isn't for you. Having said that there were plenty of fight scenes, with a hint of romance and twist on the sword in the stone. It's is a movie I will buy but even for a one off rental its good enough to entertain the family for the night, so grab a popcorn, sit down, put your feet up and relax while you watch another tale unfold!
