After watching this season of Smallville, I am glad for the kiss of death. After Lex's departure, the show just got too convoluted. It should be allowed to die a slow death on Fridays. Just don't get rid of Supernatural! Eric Kripke has stated that he would like to end on a high at the end of season 5. We must not let this happen!! Too many brilliant shows get cancelled because they are not formulaic like the rest of TV (See Reaper's cancellation vs. the renewal of 90210 and the "new" Melrose Place). I swear Hollywood wouldn't know an original idea if it bit them in the overpaid a$$!
