I'm with you mate. Anything they can do to make it better, improving the special effects only adds to the whole story. Imagine if they went back and redid all the effects for the original films you know it would look amazing.

If George has been tinkering with these scenes they why the f@@k hasn't he sorted out the shameful Death Star explosions at the end of A New hope and Jedi ???? any way as we all know this is a money making excersise.

LOOKS PROMISING, I say give it a chance 1st trailers are usally the worst and won't give much a way. I've read of the director going to insane amounts of detail to match it up to the orginal 's footage. Also this has been delayed and delayed so what do you think they have been doing ? not just sitting there but refining the effects so it SHOULD look amazing

much as i love star wars this is just a money making exercise and here's why: the first star wars in 3D begining of next year and then the rest every 6 months thats 3 years. then the box set of the 3D versions on blu ray even thought were are getting the blu rays in september. thats about 4 years just in time for a new TV series. it's called maximising product longevity. ask yourself this what has Lucus done sinces Star Wars

I think this is real and here's why. First video if you look at the fire footage there are big buildings in the mid ground and the building in the background which is on fire looks like a skyscraper (an entire skyscraper on fire that would have been all over the news) footage must have been done with a state of the art effects package. second video shows the same freeway/subway used in the dark knight.

seriously would you guy get over it and act like adults. it's not child porn what so ever, it's just showing the character's back story like Eric as a child at the concentration camp and she is covered in blue make up.Matthew Vaughnis an intelligent director who treats his audience the same. If you can't get your head round it then don't see it !!!

The original was one of the best horrors of last year and this shows promise, same dark atmosphere fingers grossed

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH this is sh#t news.can't belive it. it makes we sick that these STUPID STUDIOS squabbling over film rights and money. their gutless and all they worry about is money, not getting great movies made with amazing talent.this is such a blow Guillermo was without a doubt the perfect choice.once again they should hang their heads in shame for destroying fantastic potential.

THIS WILL BE SOFT AS SH*TE !!.the studio just won't let them make an R rated film it needs to be.they want to squeeze as much money out of it as possible at the expence of the true nature of the character. Wolverine needs to be brutal and violent with a good story!......and some decent effects please

I think we have covered this. What we want in the next one is a MASSIVE SPACE BATTLE something truly epic and some tactics this time please not just "fire everything".
I loved the first one but was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see nero taking out the other starfleet ships. Lets face it that's what you want and with todays effects it would have looked the sh*ts !!
