I just watched Man Of Steel 3D and This Is The End. My God, these movies are damn good. Totally worth paying to see.

@skywise,
Thanks, man!
Yeah, Hobo was one of my favorite films of 2011 and is still one of my favorites ever. I just f*cking loved what Eisner did with the homage and it made me recall my own childhood as it reminded me of the flicks I watched when I was young. Brilliantly WTF.

@NeonKazma,
Haha, yeah, I think I might've... Good catch.
And yeah, VHS2 is WAY better than the first. Far more enjoyable. And I heard... I died a little inside when I heard that The Purge: 2 would be allowed to see the light of day... Bryan SMASH!

@Zak-Lee-Ferguson,
Haha, thanks, bud! And if you look hard enough, they actually released (or, are releasing) as special edition of VHS as... A legit VHS! I think it's a great idea.

@NeonKazma,
Exactly, man! And on that note, why the f*ck would you put a shotgun on the table right in front of them?! I mean, WHAT THE F*CK?!
And yeah, I have yet to see Superman, but This is the End is really damn funny.

"... Where V/H/S gave such a dying venue of film a breath of toxic life, V/H/S/2 has used such foul air to fill its rotting lungs and continue the legacy of such a lost cinematic form..."

@NeonKazma,
Dude, I would've been flipping my sh*t at those people for that. That's just not cool. People just lack respect nowadays... Anywho... Hahaha, yup, the mother in the flick annoyed the hell out of me with her indifferent attitude and the fact that she wouldn't stop treating her husband like sh*t--especially when she finds out their security system isn't impeneatrable and like a bomb could take it out. Wake up, woman!
As for those movie. I LOVED 28 Days Later and 30 Days of Night. Fantastic horror flicks they be! The Ninth Gate I wasn't a big fan of and I didn't care for Batman: Gotham Knights (though, Under the Red Hood was great). And then there's Fido, which I really dug as well. Like a Tim Burton flick before he became sh*tty.

Just to let you know that my reviews for The Purge and Now You See Me are up. Just in case if your "mentions" page isn't working.

@kiion,
And thanks for reading, man!

@kiion,
Well, like I told NeonKazma, I saw it with some others that were entertained by it. I just had a base expectation for the story and script to be just a little realistic. Again, there's a single cool scene and some interesting plot points, but the director just didn't know how to utilize any of it.

@NeonKazma,
Thanks, buddy. Let me know what you think because a few of the people I saw it with were entertained. I just couldn't endure all of the idiocy and plot holes.

@skywise,
Yeah, this flick definitely tries to incorporate Straw Dogs into its story as an "everyman" is forced to become the brutal fighter in order to protect his family. This one is just SO limp on its execution that I couldn't excuse all of its flaws.

@ed-wood,
Thanks! Let me know what you think.
