Zonbie killin' fun! How can you not want to see this campy sh*t!
Saw it already, it was called Wolverine.
Took my son to see Mall Cop. It was good for a couple chuckles, but by no means a great movie. It is just a movie that folks can take the kids to and not worry about content (rare it seems), so it's a no brainer it made good box office (parents and kids going together 2 for 1 = $$).

Has comedic potential, but so did Ishtar.
Hey Chad, I stand by my post 100 percent. Will Smith is in the same boat as Julia Roberts (job one: putting butts in seats). McG said "I've been wanting to work with him and that guy's great" -- what the f*ck do you expect him to say -- he is great -- at getting butts in seats and at being Will Smith. Of course he wants him, for the reason I stated, hell so would I if I had a stake in the project and just wanted box office -- it is a biz afterall. But if I wanted a seriously good film (lasting, iconic) I'd have a damn good story and exceptional actors (major chops). There is no way Will would make a great Nemo. I like Will in many roles, but this one is not right for him.

BTW, I like that tardhatch comment I'll have to remember that one, you scroat! lol
In the words of Will Smith -- Aww, Hell no!

The fact that they are trying this indicates to me that this project will suck. They are worried about drawing crowds based on name and not a good production. Really sad to read this.

Should be a comedy! After watching the PBS doc*mentary on Hugo -- the guy is obviously a nut job and the folks there are starting to realize it. Promise the people everything and deliver nothing but being worse off. Top that with a guy who rules with an iron thumb deepening paranoia - ripe environment for comedy. I imagine Stone got funding from Hugo himself (having visited him many times) so expect a major propaganda flick - wait what else have we got from this guy anyway. >roll eyes

Zobies, Mutant, who the f*ck cares about the semantics! The CGI S U C K E D! They were supposed to be real world humans that were plague altered, not some sort of gravity defying wall clibing super being! Barf!
brunchking wrote a comment about the news item I Am Legend Prequel to Be a Sequel After All?
They can do whatever thay want, I won't be seeing it. The first one lost me with the CGI "Mummy" style zombies that defied the laws of physics. PUKE!

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Rehash.
Worried about Captain AMERICA being closely associated with the United States -- go figure? Sheesh, who writes this stuff? Maybe they can just gloss it over like in Supernman Returns -- Truth, Justice and " all that stuff" (eye roll). I know call him Captain whats-his-name, that'll fake out the international audience.
