Did no one see "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"...
I like both of the Crank movies. They're terrible but they don't try to be better than they are. I hope this is good. I don't have high expectations, but unless it has horrible reviews I'll see it.

@Daveactor7, Like I said I totally see both sides. Also I know Nolan said he was dead, but it could be misdirection and frankly I always saw the "funeral" as a service for Harvey Dent and just Harvey Dent. Personally I'd love to see 2-Face come back and I hate the idea that 2-Face died falling the same distance as Batman but he survived. I know the armor is what people say.

I just hold to hope that 2-Face didn't die, but I am sure I am in he minority there.
I can not under good conscious believe he's dead. I can understand both sides of the story but my argument is how can you have villain who has been around since close to the beginning of Batman and kill him off in 1/2 hour of film. Frankly he's my favorite villain and I truly hope he's alive.
I totally agree with your feelings on Michael Cera. That kid is ridiculous. I did like Superbad and actually really loved Scott Pilgrim, but it wasn't because of him.

As for Paul W.S. Anderson I must say your hate is admirable but he is by no means the worst. I am not going to defend him, but he is a fun director. He's movies are not great but entertaining in the very least. Granted Death Race was...a miss from the original, but he did some cool things with it. I like Mortal Kombat just because it was a good adaptation of the game. AVP was terrible and so was Event Horizon and Resident Evil. If you want REALLY bad directors you have to bark up the Uwe Boll, Brett Ratner, and Michael Bay tree.

So done hearing about Cameron and his back and forth on projects. Pick one and do it!
I am so happy he's not using Riddler. I love Riddler and would have loved to see him in the movie, but I am excited to see a new villain on film. Here's hoping it's Hush.

I'll be there. If and only if George doesn't write or direct. Also can we have some KOTOR action?

@K-Man, the studio can't be done with indie directors for wolverine. Part of the reason the movie sucked so bad was their interfering with Gavin Hood. They brought on Richard Donner who was basically put there to relieve Gavin of his job. So they really didn't give him a chance.
@BTodd, I agree with you, but I have to mention that Guillermo del Toro was an artistic director only until he made Hellboy and on the other hand Sam Mendes had only done American Beauty before he did Road to Perdition, hell even Nolan did artsy movies before Batman came along. Darren can do anything if they give him the chance. The only way I'd see the next Wolverine is if they brought in a smaller more intimate director like Aronofsky.
I really want to see his Robocop.
Gavin Hood won't return because there was too much drama on the set of the first. Too many people stirring the pot and not enough brains to make it anything worth watching. That movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Aronofsky has been trying to get in to main stream movies for a while. I think a main stream movie from an artistic director would be great. It's happened before. Look at Del Toro.

I'LL BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!
I pretty much done hearing about Cameron milking this. I was on board when I saw the first trailer, I was on board after I watched it, but I am done now. Either release it or don't I don't care any more. 3D has lost it's luster and part of it is because of everybody doing 3D Yes Avatar was the first REALLY big one, but stop juicing it. This is insane.

Please no Emma Roberts...
BruceWayne wrote a comment about the news item Will You See Avatar Again in 3D?
I saw it twice in IMAX. It was fun and I loved the visuals and I'll buy it on bluray when it comes out in a version that's not just a menu and the movie, but will I see it again in theatres just for the 8 minutes. No. They've got my money. It's good but great visuals do not make a great movie. Now Inception! I am planning on seeing that for my 4th time very soon.
