A Vampire isn't too far fetched. In Spider-Man 3, Peter happened to be in the park where the symbiote came down in a meteor on the same night Flint Marko escaped from jail and stumbled into a science experiment all the while Harry Osborn was taking the Green Goblin performance enhancer and attacks Peter as he is heading home after receiving Aunt May's wedding ring that he planned to propose to MJ with.

I'm sure if the DVD sales are strong they'll make a sequel. Although I hope it comes out after The Avengers movie.

When I heard Riami was not writing this script I gained much more confidence in the movie. He should direct, but I'm very glad they have a different writer.
I'm in full agreement that just because The Dark Knight brought in $500 million in the US does not mean every comic book movie should be darker. Wolverine should be dark because it fits his personality. Spider-Man has no business being that dark, the darkest it should get is with Venom and even that doesn't need to be dark on the level of The Dark Knight. Well we will have plenty of time to speculate about who will be the villain other than The Lizard, and as long as it is not the Vulture I'll be more than happy. I think it would be more of a shock if The Lizard turned out not to be in than anything. |

I do blame Sam Raimi for Spider-Man 3s poorness. Yeah Avi Arad told them to put Venom in, but it was Sam's choice to simply modify the current script by replacing Vulture with Venom. Although I still think that Spider-Man 3 would have sucked even without Venom, the Vulture in my opinion is the worst villain in the Marvel universe.
Just to throw this out there, Vin Diesel was looking to play a villain. Perhaps the Scorpion? (he wouldn't fit the part of non scorpion suit Mac Gargan though) |

if Magneto got them back... who's to say that the cure worked at all.
as for Cyclops, if they wanted him back they could always use the whole "didn't actually die on screen, he was only thrown a few hundred yards away and somehow survived" never under estimate screenwriters/directors abilities to revive people from the dead. hell look at Marvel, the masters of resurrection |

I do think Smallville should have ended last season, but Season 8 looks better then Season 7 so from the casting.
It does suck that Lex is gone, but I'm glad Lana left. She was a good character but I felt at the end of season 6 she should have remained dead and push Lex & Clark into real hatred. By the way... isn't Clark suppose to be in college? When was the last time he was shown close to school? |

Of all the films that need remakes, Childs Play is not one of them. However as long as the remakes give the studios profit they keep on making them.
I'm still waiting to see if Chucky ever follows Jason & the Leprechaun into space |

I don't mind another Deep Blue Sea movie, I just dislike that they use the title 'Deep Blue Sea 2' If it is not a real sequel don't throw a 2 in there, it only will piss off people who don't follow movies very closely. Just call it 'Dead Blue Sea: More Sharks' or whatever subtitle the marketing department and director can think of.
With all that said, I don't mind another shark film as long as its done well. |

wrote a comment about the news item When Will Superman: The Man of Steel Fly?
I like the idea of a reboot of the franchise, however I think they should try to get the actors & director who will make the best Superman film. Don't get new ones just for the sake of getting a new cast.
SuperBoy, slow pacing, combined with Supes tossing a kryptonite mountain really ruined this film. I know minimal about Superman mythology but I'd really like to see Darkseid, Brainiac, or Doomsday appear. They can keep Lex if they want, but they really need a villain that challenges Supes with more than just intelligence. |

As of now, X-Men 4 is not in production (that we know of). It's all rumors and hopeful wishing.
Only way I see them making a fourth X-Men is if both X-Men Origins films do well |

I only go to the theater a few times a year, but I would love to go at least twice or more a month. For now I usually just buy Blu-Rays, I avoid renting movies. I read reviews before making a decision on if I should buy or not.

Bone claws would be great in this movie. I'm just worried the Gambit actor will be terrible. I'm a big Gambit fan, and it does suck that they're changing his origins, but X-Men 4 is looking doubtful and if this is the only way for him to make it on screen then I'm all for it. Hopefully his personality isn't changed.

I'd love to have them do an X-Men, maybe introduce the Legacy Virus, Gambit, Sinister, and maybe with a follow up Apocalypse for the next.
*Spoiler if you haven't seen X-Men 3* Plus if I'm not mistaken, didn't Magneto get some of his mutant abilities back at end of the last stand? plus there is the whole Xavier after credits situation. Ratner left too much messed up to do another movie, but if a writer & director feel they can manage it, I say go for it. |

Probably as of Tuesday morning, The Dark Knight has probably past Transformers in the all time domestic gross.
I hope it reaches the 462 million by the end of its cycle and at least takes the number 2 spot all time domestic |

1) The Dark Knight
- Easily the best movie of the year 2) Iron Man - I was surprised at how good it turned out 3) Cloverfield - Loved what they did, I do hope for a sequel we get an official origin & non handheld camera. 4) Incredible Hulk - It was good, but I haven't seen really any other movie this year so it's by default (Narnia & Indie 4 could easily pass it, but I haven't seen it) |
