"Thoroughly enjoyable spy thriller with some decent 'jumps'"
Oh...my...God. Seriously? We get a Playschool version because Chuck Norris doesn't like swear words??? To get the rating he wants they'd also have to cut out all the impressive gore and violence that helped make the first one harder-hitting than expected. Chuck Norris sucks. He's just helped damage a film that should have been for grown-ups.

I must have this movie as I just realised it's not porn.
Ben Greene wrote a comment about the news item CONTEST: Win Cowboys & Aliens on Blu-ray
I must have this as I understand they've stopped using those silly CGI creatures and gone back to using real aliens again.

I must have these prizes because Colin Farrell's chained up in my basement and he wants to go home.

Anyone else get the feeling the producers are relying on that lazy old chestnut (yes Love Actually & He's Just Not That Into You, I'm looking at you) of thinking: "We need a hit! Surely if we pack if FULL of stars people will watch it even if the plot's flimsy! MORE STARS, WE NEED MORE! THROW IN ANOTHER ONE!"
These things tend to just end up with little room for any one plot thread to flesh out the way it deserves, and come across as a cynical attempt to sucker in audiences. 15 big names doesn't automatically make it a decent film.
Ben Greene reviewed the movie The Thing

"A very worthy and enjoyable Prequel"
Ben Greene reviewed the movie Abduction

"Fun, enjoyable, disposable. And Lautner fans will LOVE it."

"An exciting family movie with an iconic hero."

I'm very confused...why would people have a 'Not Interested' list? If you're that disinterested in seeing something, why would you be passionate enough to make a List about it??? Lol

I think there was a spark of playfullness missing from this - it was trying to be a family adventure/action film, but went too dark and broody. I think if they'd lost a little of the seriousness and had a bit more fun with it, it might've been more of a success. (After all, what a power to have!). Besides that though, I thought this was a great deal of fun.

@cooInblue - so glad to hear that's what it's like. I loved those films and have yet to see this, but the trailer felt like that great old '80s spielberg adventure movie style to me. :)

Just a thought - what are they going to call a sequel if they make one? Lol. They can't call it 'Super 8 2', you'll have people asking where Super's 1-7 and 9-81 went lol
