Agreed, @bawnian-dexeus. Kakashi has his moments where his actions downright piss me off, such as being late and using false excuses for his lateness whereas Obito actually had a reason for usually being tardy. He may feel like he's continuing Obito's path, but he's not. I especially dislike the fact that he always favored Sasuke in training and not Naruto. Other things along the way as well. But this twist... well, it's certainly going to paint him in a tragic light or make him out to be extremely flawed. Bummer, because I actually find his character usually awesome. I'm especially hating how overpowered the series has gotten. Kakashi had trouble against a B-rank shinobi like Zabuza (who was really badass for early Naruto fans) and now rinnegans and eternal magneykos are flying around everywhere as well as bjuu containers and all these kekei genkais(?)... it all just seems pointless after a while and makes it hard for me to really care about any battles at the moment.

@narrator Yeah. I've always known Kakashi had his flaws and a dark past, but man, when he said KIA in episode one, I never expected it to lead to this

I shocked, @bawnian-dexeus, that's for sure. There are a lot of theories going around at the moment as to why Kakashi may have killed Rin. He certainly looked remorseful, so either it was a genjutsu, Zetsu's manipulations, or a twist where Rin wasn't who she seemed to be. I'm a fan of the theory that Kakashi, being young adn desperate not to be his father, chose to take the mission before his friends too far. We'll find out soon enough.
@narrator Did you read today's chapter? Talk about *gasp*
@narrator I always had my susp*cions. I mean, I kept watching the Kakashi chronicles over and over and read the most popular fan-fics out there and it always missed that catalyst to actually connect the events. Who knew Madara and his eyes could wield such dimensional power. Last chapter left with a clifhanger. Let's see where it leads before we get back to the ninja war. I'm surprised at how the author is keeping Naruto's power, even with the 9 tales. Madara in his golden age is kinda like a God in terms of how powerful he is. That Hashirama was sure a legend.

@bawnian-dexeus - What do you think of this "twist". I mean, a lot of people predicted it, but the timelines didn't match up, so it eventually became a really bad fan-fic idea and nothing more. Then lo and behold, it turns out to be true. Thoughts on Obito - Tobi?
