I've probably seen Elliot in to many films by now. And it's not like he changes that much from to film. So it was like watching the guy from big lebowski on a battlefield:-)

@mcleve02 Ehm well i'm European so i did feel there was a bit of flagwaving going on. I know they show both sides and all but still felt a bit too much at times.
And Sam Elliott and Mel Gibson were a bit caricatureish. Elliott to me seemed completely missplaced in this film. And Gibson was doing his action hero routine too much. Standing there in the middle shooting people with one hand and stuff like that.

@mcleve02 Yeah it's a good movie, and i liked your review.
There's a few things about it I didn't like but overall it's certainly one of the better war movies.

I found Diaz annoying just by the trailer, so i doubt i'll be able to get through the film.

Well it is his wife, and you know you gotta keep them happy:-)

He is so getting the oscar for this. Lewis already have 2 of them and Hopkins only has 1 of them. Just give it to him now.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Well they all scream scream or texas chainsaw, what's important is it isn't sream or chainsaw. It's smiley:-) So there's a chance, might be a small one but a chance it's something new

At least it's something new and not another horror remake. I'll watch for that reason alone.
