"I've been dancing around with this movie in my head for a week now,And I still don't get the hipe About it.I really think that JJ was more intuned with how he was filming rather than what he was filming about.It was like the creature was just there so the story could branch off in so many directions.It's still got people on the toes in discussions and speculation.Great for the numbers and the press,But in the long run,I don't see it more than a quick Jolt of entertainment,quickly forgotten'.
"While I have a great admiration for what was accomplished in this film,I think my expectations were let down mostly due to the hipe made prior to the film being released.I mean,How much time was actually focused on the beast,And how much on the going's on of the personal lives of people around it?20/80% easy.In any event,In light of your comments,and several not quite polite conversations with others(lol)I will give it a second chance.If I get a sec or two,I'll go see it again.If only to help answer a lot of unanswered questions.I might as well,,If there is a sequel,,I'll most likly be there as well,,,lol........Nice review.........Baptie6

"It would help to make the chopper crash make a lot more sence though.I thought it was pretty weak that the creature was just standing there after the crash.Expecially since it was under attack,then,nothing.A second creature,in a different part of the city would make a lot more sence,WAY MORE SENCE!!..And correct me if I'm wrong,But I don't remember the monster it the park even having a tail,Did anybody notice???

They didn't go over board by making the thing shoot lightning bolts out it's ass.And I'd like to think that the red sac (or whatever) on its head was the way in which it was able to breath under water,some sort of gill,also realistic."
