I can't wait for.. The Old and Delirious 145th sequel with Van Diesel racing all the dudes at the old folks home in his pimped out wheel chair.

I can do that.... not even scary really. Bled out and unoriginal. Not inspiring at all. And I agree with the peanut gallery of comments below me. Meh, enough already. Lets see some more possessed Cujo's and Pet Cemetery cats, zombie horses and crap. Hell yah, lets see rampaging zombie elephants, or some real to life serial killer crap again, like in the 90's. Something NEW!

I must admit I was confused, saw the trailer in theatres and was like... ummmm where's the ship? In fact I think I seen a single shot of the Enterprise crashing into the sea? Seems to be moving into a "Look at me I'm a sexy hot marketable new Kirk and who gives a *#%%# where the ship is" kinda movie. Gawd please, don't do to this franchise what Milla Jovovich did to Resident Evil. That last movie was just... ugh.. I can't even talk about it.

I'm actually excited about this one :)

Let's clear this up right now, there's parts of this that are NOT based off the book at all, but all action filler. I read The Hobbit in anticipation of watching it come to life on the big screen, but was a little annoyed half way through the movie while I stared at that pale orc for like the 19th time and Thorin's macho man energy that didn't exist whatsoever in the book. In fact, they killed the spirit of the book for me already since Bilbo Baggins hasn't really saved them from much at all so far... and the dragon is part 2 already... no escape down the river in barrels, no saving them from the Trolls, in fact this movie feels more like LOTRs Wizards Puttin' Out and Kickin Ass, edition to me. First part, very gray and bland for me thus far... I probably won't go to the show for Part 2 and Just wait for the dvd. :)

Why is anyone rating this film?? A 5 already? I just saw the trailer for this at The Hobbit this weekend, and it's not out yet. Slow down people... the trailer looks badass and it's going to fill the void while I wait for the supra-anticipated by me movie, the new Godzilla! :) Looks like a fun ride I'll admit .. but I remember watching the trailer for The Last Airbender and crapping my pants at how cool I thought it would be and it ended up BEING crap in my pants. Meh. I will definately be going to the theatre for this one!

I'm totally not surprised. Once they got a look at the guy playing him they probably pulled out. [This is sarcasm obviously.] He doesn't give me a Superman vibe at all [no flutters in the heart] but more like, "Yeah you're late, the sink's over there". Yeah I said it - He looks more like a plumber to me.
