Ok, those little blue rectangles next to the logo can be clicked to change the color - there are three other colors, gray, black, and orange. There is some kinda puzzle or pattern you can click them to make them all one color. I was wondering, has anyone gotten them all to match a color such as orange or black? If so, did anything happen?

What I love about this are the people who are posting comments and writing blogs saying "I watched this movie and it was so great/lame"... I mean - way to self-incriminate yourself there! If you do decide to watch this movie, keep it to yourself please. And furthermore, I believe if you do watch this illegal copy - have the decency to fork out the seven bucks to see the movie in the theater, regardless of whether you like it or not.

Good God, that looked like a frakkin N64 game - GI Joe, I mean. Like you have all been saying, that game does not interest me in the slightest. Willing to give Terminator a shot, though. At least they like badass cutscenes.

I have no idea what this is about (like err says, the synopsis is lame) but I am at least happy to see mech suits in mainstream Hollywood. I like mechs, they are fun.
When I say the image on the comic, I almost thought it was Brass - a scrapped comic from a decade back that was totally badass. I think it would make a better movie then some weird "racing robots" synopsis. I hope they don't bring back mechs by giving us movies like "robo jockeys" again. *shudder* |

Oh, as I was watching the advertisement and saw the words "Last Blood" I thought it was going to be a movie based on the webcomic by the same name.
Still, Blood: the Last Vampire was a half-decent anime. Great visuals when it came out - but lacking in plot. Therefore, this is probably going to have slightly less cool visuals and be even more lacking in plot. ....I totaly wish this was the trailer for Last Blood, that would have made my day. |

After reading the 'leaked ending' I am glad they changed it. It is pretty good, but not to original - and might piss people off too much for them to make a sequel or threequel.

...Least.... Happy.... Character.... Change.... Ever.... Forest Whitaker = Brilliant actor, capable of doing great things with his characters. Curtis Jackson is a gangster thug with no acting skills who, while perhaps fitting the character's profile, does not deserve to replace an actor of Whitaker's caliber. I don't know... that was just a really disappointing move, I think.

For the love of donuts, where is the trailer? I want to see this!
Even though the plot synopsis does not thrill me, I want to see this movie. Why? Because it is made by James Cameron. This is the guy who brought us Terminators 1&2, Alien, Aliens, and Titanic. Think about it - those are some of the most influential movies of our generation. If he has poured this much love into the movie, then I am confident it is going to rock my socks off. Totally paying extra to see it in 3D. |

I agree, I do believe they should allow you to escape reality... but how I interpret that is different. Fantasy and science-fiction are beyond our reality - giving us that escapism - yet you can still have genuine and realistic characters who enable you to feel connected with this alternate reality. I don't know nearly enough about this movie to cast judgement yet, and Olga seems to be an adept actress, I was just stating an observation which has been nagging at me for a while.

I am confused - why is this set as a fantasy? Shouldn't it be a historical fiction? But other than that, I tire of the "beautiful barbarian battle-maidens". It is a cliche, and it is old. I would rather the girl be older, uglier, beat-up and scarred. Why? Because that is the way things would play out in reality.

Lol, too true, 'AnnoyingFilmCritic' - Hollywood (with exceptions) does not care whether people like, or want, a movie. Their one concern is the bottom line and if it will make a profit. Well, Transformers 3 will bring a profit, guaranteed.
That is not to say I am not excited at the prospect - the more giant f-ing robots fighting, the better. I look forward to possible mech movies, such as Robotech and, God willing, Gundam. |

You brought the point up well, Diaigma. While the show appears to take fashion and culture from various Asian nations, it is still a fictional cartoon world and bound to none of our own ethnic/demographic constrictions. For the love of God, the have PLATYPUS-BEARS in that world, having a martial artist from Texas play the lead does not sound so absurd next to that.
And M. Night is a trusted director by me (though his last two have been less than stellar, the characterization and direction was still good), I have faith in his skills. BTW, black-moon, I am pretty sure he is trying to film the movies quickly and not necessarily sequentially (like LotR, albeit not quite so intense), so I don't think anyone is going to be recast once the filming starts. |

Many people did not like the Chronicles of Riddick movie - yet I really enjoyed it. Riddick makes such an interesting anti-hero (or perhaps reluctant hero), and it is a unique and artfully crafted science fiction universe. Having played the games and seen all the media, I am hoping they will make this new addition to the series.

wrote a comment about the news item Is Sam Worthington Going to Replace Christian Bale as Batman?
It is not surprising, as far as rumors go. Easy for this to be confused in the scuttlebutt that goes on between the actors of hollywood and the fanatics of the internet. LIke it said, Worthington is a rising star, and in a role alongside Bale - it is natural for people to begin rumors of the underdog one-upping the Big Bad Bale. Still, there is likely no truth whatsoever to this.
Even should it be so - Worthington may be an incredible actor, and could be an even better choice. Like I said, extremely unlikely, but it may not me tragedy. |

@ J.A. Ottley ~*~*~ ...Why is it every time I try and politely and logically explain why some circ*mstances of casting are *not* being racist - I feel like I am being accused of playing the "race card". I stated Jake Gyllenhaal is an exceptional actor, and that there were in fact people in ancient Persia whose physical features probably matched that of his. Therefore there is nothing wrong with the casting, and it ultimately depends on acting skills, director vision, and script writing. Besides, if one looks at old Hollywood (take "The Good Earth" for example) acting skill (and popularity) took precedence over geographical ancestry in many situations. Please, just enjoy a movie for what it is and do not focus so intently on a person not being the "right color".
Honestly, I see more people making accusations of playing the 'race card' on this site than instances when it is actually used. |
