So where have these characters been until now? How come we're just hearing of the JSA? And was that Sandman in the TV spot?

I would have been shocked if they had not. A great show, quirky, funny, sexy, actiony and it's got Bruce Campbell's chin!

Yeah that does seem a little suspect. Although as much as I enjoy the show it is sometimes very slow and methodical. They need to get it in gear before the audience gets bored.

Good news for those of us that get a kick out of the campy, snarky, wacky shenanigans of Shawn & Gus.

Here's the story from Wired magazine that this project is based on. http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/magazine/16-03/ff_seacowboys?currentPage=all
It will be interesting to see how they spin this. It does have all the ingredients to make an action film; high stakes, quirky characters, even the tragic death of one of the crewman. |

I don't know that we need an Exorcist update. But I have enjoyed Friedkin's work on CSI, he's good at small screen storytelling.
(Newkill, what year did you see the movie?) |

Umm... check the ratings ABC "V" is dropping off. And You aren't doing it any favors by only airing 4 episodes before the long Olympics hiatus.

Ya know Comrade I thought about that too. But if Marvel did some time-travel magic or even used flashbacks we could get a Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos and a Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. combo. Marvel appears to be more interested in protecting their characters while DC is just whoring them around (With all due apologies to The Dark Knight). btw my bad, I meant WWII.

What the frak!? Can't you people leave well enough alone? Rock belongs in WWI. Nothing wrong with killing Nazis, just ask Brad Pitt.

wrote a comment about the news item Southland Looking Like It Will Land at TNT
Thank the maker for this. NBC had it's head up it's collective butt when they cancelled this show. TNT is a good fit for "Southland", a network that will nurture a show and give it a chance to grow and catch on as well as reaching a broader audience than say Showtime.

wrote a comment about the news item Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman to Produce Doc Savage
Wow this is great news! Ever since the dud 'Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze' in 1975 I've been waiting for a good Doc Savage movie. Orci & Kurtzman are the current Hollywood it guys and Shane Black's a great writer - it should prove to be a productive team-up. Hmmm... now to the cast...
