I just got back from the film. It was a good film, BUT for Trek fans who love the series and Gene, i came away devestaed to think Vulcan is gone!! It can't be. All canon and Gene's vision has been neglected. All trek fans must demand that the timeine is restored!!! What about Spock in the season 5 ep. reunification - what about the birth of Tuvok?? We must have vulcan back.
