I'm a huge Elvis fan!! Finally got to visit his Graceland home last summer...he is still very much alive in the collective hearts of millions of fans! Would love to own this new Elvis tour on Blu Ray!
This is worth a "Hell yeah!" & a "Word!" F&F5...let's see some new Camaros, Challengers & 5th generation Eclipses up in that B*tch! They see me rollin'...they hatin'...they wanna catch me ridin' dirty!
AnnoyingFilmCritic wrote a comment about the news item Andrew Garfield Is the Next Spider-Man!
I saw him in Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus & thought he was a good actor when I saw it, just didn't know at the time that he would be the new Spiderman! If Sony is trusting him, then he should do a good job.
Yeah, the box office order above seems right...Pixar has the best movie studio track record going. Toy Story3 has been getting stellar reviews/word of mouth, which will pounce all over "Grown Ups" & "Knight & Day." Family movies, Good family movies, consistently prove to be the box office kings since they have such broad appeal, especially to parents who don't go to theatres much, unless their rugrats are begging to see something.

As for the Avatar dustup on here...it sure is nice to see some Avatar backlash! Geez, it's about time that some movie fans realize that Avatar is a Big pile of Blue Shyt! (Read my Avatar review where I make my points). As much as I love eye candy effects spectacle, Good movies will Always be about a compelling Story & well developed, relatable Characters! My case in point: July's "Inception," directed by Christopher Nolan, Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has All the ingredients of what a Great movie should be...Check out the Inception trailer & see the Sleeper 2010 Summer hit movie unravel, but, onlyso much to intrigue...Story, Suspense, Amazing visuals and the "Cool Factor!"

I was being sarcastic about casting him in everything...I thought I was blatant about it, lol!
AnnoyingFilmCritic wrote a comment about the news item Sam Worthington Circles This Means War
Hell, when is Worthington going to be cast to play Han Solo, Indianna Jones, Rick Dekkard, Superman, Spiderman, Harry Potter, Ghostbuster#3, Jason Bourne, Edgar Hoover, The Riddler? Sam's an OK actor, not any real acting talent...thanks, wayyyy overarrated Avatar for inflating this spectacular mediocre Aussie actor's film slate...Clash of the Titans was cool though! Bicker, banter, bond, lol!
AnnoyingFilmCritic wrote a comment about the news item First Official The Smurfs Image Is Here!
80's kid here, so, this project has piqued my interest...Hank Azaria as Gargamel & Katy Perry as Smurfette is good casting...the fish out of water/NYC premise is a good/expected story formula that could very well/or not provide some genuine entertainment value...this Smurf property could be the new "80's pillaging-Chipmunks/sleeper hit" franchise...some American Idol/Autotune- "musical recording artists" could help fuel this actually cool/nostalgic cartoon barbarian at the box office gates...sheath your sword, portly Russel Crowe/post modern/angst-ridden-Robin Hood...Archer Smurf wants to read some "Variety industry magazine" Monday box office/studio execs. praise/grumbling...

This is a Prequel, NOT a remake..I'm all for a current take on the backstory to Carpenter's '82 horror masterpiece...that movie is the blueprint for new filmakers to study for its perfection of story, suspense & omg/idelible special effects that Still hold up!
AnnoyingFilmCritic wrote a comment about the news item Breaking Bad Renewed for Fourth Season!
Great news, but, expected...looks like the mainstream is catching on the 3rd season in. Cable TV continues to kick network TV programming all around. The finale was another, typical suspenseful, twisty showcase of its gamut of runaway talent!
AnnoyingFilmCritic wrote a comment about the news item The Crow Reboot Project Moves Forward
The original Crow (1994) with Lee is the benchmark of the franchise...Lee delivered a great performance, the direction, production design, soundtrack and adventure & heart still hold up...a modern classic!

Having said that & knowing that every franchise will be rebooted as studios deem them financially necessary/it's inevitable...I always like to withhold my judgement about a production until more of the elements present themselves...in this case, the newly casted Crow, plot points & a first cut trailer...and yeah, Marston, a Fincher Crow reboot would be the sh*t!!

post script...most of today's rap mix/teen pop crap-ola music certainly sux and not relevant to soundtrack the new Crow movie...but, a few music acts like Muse or The Dead Weather would be cool!
Wayyyy Cool! R.I.P. Hughes

Saw this wicked trailer attached to Iron Man, can't wait to see this! Abrams is a genius with story & marketing...and Super8 will follow the trickled out/viral marekting for a year like Cloverfield where every movie fan will overanalyze all of the dribbled minutae.

As for seeing the alien creature in the last photo...that could just be a MovieWeb article teaser or maybe there is something see, but, looking at that last photo, I could make out a couple of "faces"...it's like looking at clouds or a rorscach test, you see what you want to see.

Way cool, it's going to be great to see Dwayne face off with Diesel!

Cool casting with Hugo as the Red Skull! Everyone here agrees...then, it must be good!
Ok...trying to step beyond the studio's cash cow directive & movie fan site's typical "epic fail" & "if it's a 3D production, then, that Must mean it "HAS" to lack any artistic/integrity/merit as a movie", by itself...(this is the post Avatar 3D backlash time period for any subsequent movie/ attention-seeking teenage movie bitchin' a*hole commentor to lay further critical cyber bricks on succeeding films to bandwagon/gain acceptance by surging movie-blogg-ish denunciation >>sh*t all over any movie because a studio that has to show a return/profit to stay in business in the worst US economy since the Great Depression of 1939/ has to consider 3D to remain economically viable/you flush with movie options on any, particular sh*tty weekend)

The original, US adapted "Ring" movie was a critical & commercial hit because of its premise & genuine suspense & visual payoff scares...this new sequel, years later (studio execs. learning from their collective mistakes on Ring2) should produce a third installment that is redolent of the original's true horror! Otherwise, their bottom line suffers...commerce to sustain the arts polemic.

Now, back to if it's 3D , it must suck & reboots suck also generalizations...
