this is good news as my kids love action films, they loved watching red at the pics.

hahahaha pmsl i love the reasons that people are giving, although basil rathbone was my favourite rob as i call him is an awesome actor loved him in the first installement so i am looking forward to this back to the point in hand. do i wanna win because i have no real back story to convince you i deserve this any more than the others contenders, so funny to see why people should win everything from using your partner, your kids, how you are not well off, proclaiming you are the only one too have visited his museum (if that was the case it would of been shut down years ago), how life is so hard for you, sucking up by saying it is the best movie of all time (which it is not the best and like the rest off these answers probably said on more than one comp), etc. so good luck everyone but i think @gentleben should win just because it is xmas and he pulled a cracker of a joke which belongs in a um .....well... a cracker.

wow this trailer actually makes the first one a lot better i say to an lot of my mates that you need the first one too introduce the characters and back story but this looks like it will kick ass cannot wait.

this film does not need a remake in my opinion so for me i am glad i loved this film. is just me but there is no need to do remakes of remakes of the the ring and the grudge.

unfortunately this became one of those franchise things that was more about the money me and my mates love the original yet my brother loves the third one i think it is a generation thing i hope they can pull this off, problem is at the time it was so fresh and people could relate to it just hanging out with mates chillin and neighbourhood being so alive with stories, but there is not a sense of community any more in alot of places. should they do it i don't know chris tucker has being playing smokey in most of his films if you get what i am saying.

am i the only one who thinks that the pic of Christian bale smiling in his suit strikes an uncanny resemblance to zoltar from battle of the planets cartoon lol.

man i remember watching this at the pics when i was a kid although my kids have seen it i will be dragging them to it. and as for ghostbusters 3 bring it on when the lights go down and the music starts and the hairs on the back will stand up and i will sit back and enjoy the film and the first two will not be ruined whether good or bad. and @jasonkat i agree on all but vamp and Halloween 3 you forgot one of the best horrors john landis an american werewolf in london, what about nightbreed, jaws, terminator, bad taste, brain dead (peter jacksons film as there are others with same name), meet the feebles, original piranha, the blob remake, could go on forever.

Is it just me or does the female reassemble one of the creatures from another Clive barker film nightbreed lol. Good concept work but I don't know what they where thinking of with pinhead looking like a mix between a lipstick and one hell of a vibrator which is quite good as hellraiser was a sexual yet fetish film giggity.

oh sorry about my rant and if not making any sense but i think you get the idea, and i must confess the trailers looks better just cause of the black and white but still not enough :).

right i watched the first one on some channel on one of the virgin channels out of pure curiosity this film is sh*t it could bore an insomniac too sleep me and my mate who watched this movie have seem some sick sick films and this does not touch them in anyway, i guess it is suppose to be some fetish thing but holds nothing to the likes of hellraiser. i know there are some young kids who have never experienced the likes of cannibal ferox etc and thick they are jimmy frickin well hard cause something that far reaches there small minds they think is awesome well your an idiot cause your just following a crowd trying to be cool by likeing something people hate just to make them think your awesome when you ain't back in the day i would have mates who would brag saying something like yeah well i have seen violent sh*t it is well gross roughly translated to look at me i am hard. these films are pointless you are pointless and as far as that Serbian bollocks i have not watched nor will i ever watch it is a waste of time in my eyes and i will probably not watch human centipede 2 either unless by accident. and the first is so crap every free channel on virgin shows it sometimes 2-3 times a week as soon as it was released it was on these channels that has to be a clue to how good it is if shown alongside mega frickin shark and sharktapus excreta.

@luxolll hi my feeling is that john capenters the thing may be remade but be a sequel too this one which will would be pretty funny as that the sequel too this one will not technally be a re-make and make the new one more of a of a reboot of the franchise if that makes any sense.

first off john carpenter's 1982 version of the thing was a re-make it's self of the 1951 film the thing from another world which was ground breaking in it's self as it was the first time an audience saw a man on fire, secondly those who may actually remember the film in the norwegian camp site you see the block of ice in the camp but is empty in the trailer too this one they have found the block of ice and are GOING to open the block of ice, and all the characters in the new one have norwegian names, blah blah blah, so it don't take a genius too put it all together. and you guys call yourself movie fans hahaha.

tom hardy won't have trouble bulking himself up man he done an awesome job for one of my altime greatest films bronson. look frorward to this film christopher nolan has done an amazing job so far although cannot take anything away from tim burtons gothic style meh
