I like what you've told here. There's a clear conflict that is certainly plausible. But will there be a relationship between Elisabeth and all three men? Perhaps the mafioso has interest in her or is willing to take her as payment? It sounds like she's stuck in the middle of two ruthless men, which would be pretty cool...because it seems like her only options are still short of being total solutions.
Keep grinding it out.
Yea I was thinking that I'd have the mafioso fall in love w/ Elisabeth.
I have the idea for the ending...which is basically a showdown between the mafioso (struggling to do his job or follow his heart) and the businessman (who realizes that the mafioso killed his father on a hit).
Anymore suggestions are welcome.

I've been toying with this idea for a script.
Three stories of three different men
-A mafioso who never had a family is sent out to deal with a buther who is not paying his protection dues,
-The butcher, who is aging and getting sick. He is unable to pay his protection to the mafia, and is trying to insure a good future for his daughter, Elisabeth..who is the center of the movie.
-A wealthy businessman who to insure Elisabeth's future, was arranged to marry her by the butcher. Elisabeth wants him to save her father's life by paying either his protection r his medical bills. He doesn't.
There's more in my head. Is it any good? I'm open to criticism, suggestions, additions, removals, anything. Also, I can't think of a title =/
Thanks in advance

some friends and I are in the process of making an animated series. The basic storyline is a group of teenagers in their last summer before college. Don't be confused, just because it's animated doesn't make it for children. It would probably get a TV14 rating if ever produced. Anyway, we have written 4 episodes so far, and have run into writer's block. If anyone wants to help out in anyway with writing some more episodes please contact me. Just ideas for episodes would help.
Characters include:
Jason Sullivan: A nice guy, who doesn’t really belong to any type of click or group. He isn’t the most popular guy in school, but is dating one of the most popular girls in school, Emily. He, because he hasn’t had many relationships before, is very attached to Emily. He is the butt of many “whipped” and “get a room” jokes.
Jessica Sullivan: the prep girl, very pretty, and friends with everybody. She’s not “slutty” but always seem to fall for good-looking guys who treat her badly. Jessica says she wants to change and be with a guy who will treat her right, but isn’t quite ready to drop the superficial attitude.
Albert Brenstein: a self-proclaimed nerd. Albert is extremely intelligent and therefore, a little conceited and self-centered. He is an overall nice guy who has a four-year crush on Jessica. His “mission” is to show Jessica that looks aren’t everything and that he would treat her the way she deserves.
Kel Demster: the class clown. Kel is a total womanizer, changing girlfriends like it’s a bodily function. He is a good-looking guy and is incredibly funny, providing comic relief to the series. His only fault is that he didn’t exactly get the lion’s share of intelligence. He is incredibly slow. His conflicts throughout the show mostly include trying to score a new hottie.

It is not an adult animation, but not a children's movie either. Kind of like Shrek with some adult mannered inuendos and such. I'd say running time from 15-25 minutes. Do you have any ideas in mind?

Hi. I am a senior in high school who is in the digital media art magnet at my school. Me and my friends want to make an animated movie, as we just got the software to make animations in the same manner as Shrek and that kind of stuff. However, we don't know what to make. Anyone with any ideas or better, scripts? Either respond or email me at butcher44@gmail.com
Thanks.

i dont see how this movie is extremely close to big green. then again, ive never actually seen big green, except the ending which i saw at school with a substitute teacher, so i wasn't really paying attention. maybe it can be linked to big green but "extremely close"? idk i think this idea has potential to be a very good teen drama.

that idea dusnt sound too bad at all. but if i have the original kid beat the rich kids at there sport, wudnt that take away from the story? like say that the rich kids sport is lacrosse. if the original kid has to learn how to play lacrosse, wont that distract the audience from the main story.....baseball? but i wud like if somehow that the main kid somehow has to play against the rich kids in baseball. anyone have any ideas with this? Thanks a lot.

I've been toying with this for a while.
A teen moves from a small town in Oklahoma to a very rich neighborhood in Michigan. In Oklahoma, baseball was life. The teen loves the game with a passion and is devestated to realize that in the new town, that no one likes baseball. The kids are extremely stuck up and really reject the OKlahoma teen almost immediatley. Anyway, I want the story to revolve around baseball. Perhaps the teen trys to bring America's past time into the lives of the stuck up rich kids. That's really all I have now. Anyone care to help out this idea. Thanks.

Hey guys, I am a college student and going to be a senior. And I would like to do a full length or very close to full length movie next year. Problem is I'm and editor and am not very good at writing scripts. So I was wondering if there is anyone out there with a script they would want me to make into a movie. It would be my first major production. I am finishing up a doc*mentary right now but it's with a professor, so this will be on my own. Im going to do casting auditions and everything, have a whole crew. I need the main characters to be aged 16-19 Basically I want to get the best here on my campus and maybe even in the area. But if I can get a good script, I can probably get a grant and get some money for some props and sets, or whatever I need it for. So if anyone is interest, please please email me at butcher44@gmail.com. or send me a message to private messages, and my AIM is NoFearsNoTears4. Thanks guys.
If you are a writer looking to practice screenwriting films, let me know as we are looking to produce many projects. This is a great learning oppertunity for anyone who just wants practice in writing and would like to see their work produced.
Of course everyone will be credited and we can maintain a working relationship etc.
We just ask of the following:
75-180 pages
Our Budget will be about $500-$1000
Our Shooting Location is the Niagara Region which hosts urban, suburban, natural, developed areas however nothing too specific (ie. set in New York City).
If you have any ideas, either post them here or message me privately.
Looking forward to hearing your ideas!
All the Best
Matt

Actually you didn't mention the word plot in your first post at all.
u get my point tho. i need help developing the plot. any ideas?
|
|
|
You haven't given us much to work with. To get some feedback, I'd suggest giving us atleast a plot.
if u read my initial post im asking for help developing the plot. I just know that its about a new kid who moves into a small town where football is life. HE quickly falls in love with the game and befriends the local football fanatic teenagers. They play together a lot.
I know it needs a plot and that is what im asking for. Maybe read all of the posts before posting?
Yea thanks.
