I don't like the sound of this. Everything is being arranged far too quickly for my liking, and I have a strong feeling the show is going to turn into some inferior gimmick.

@EmmyttWolfe -- The fact that you think Jack Nicholson is "piss poor" in "The Shining", and compared the film to "Twilight" shows that you don't know what you're talking about.

Ironically enough, you're avatar represents what seems to be the most overrated show of today, if not all-time.

@EmmyttWolfe -- Screw tastes when the qualities there. Yeah, but it was a different "crazy", as we saw the transition. Then you have the marvelous direction, good editing, intriguing story, and neat cinematography. And that's not including another redeemable merit; entertainment value. You can't judge an entire film based on one performance.

@corey -- Really? Looks miles ahead of Hangover 3, Man of Steel, and Fast and Furious 6. Eh, I think it'll be too cliched to be entirely gripping in the emotional department.

@ejk1 @thedude-abides -- It was mildly interesting, all right. But, the execution was so obnoxiously blatant that it overshadowed whatever "greatness" lied beneath. And the "revelation" wasn't all that satisfying, either. Don't know if I don't give a rat's ass about the storyline as a whole, or if the adaption was just too lame to begin with. Either way, the critics' weren't too far off.

@thedude-abides -- Again, I don't mean to rain on your parade, and as much as I respect your opinion, this film just didn't please my critique.
