oh dear lord....i can't wait for the reboot of this when they actually use the capcom storyline....this is disappointing. I'm still going to see the movie, but as a Resident Evil fan (starting from the 1996 game till now)....i will have my doubts about these movies. Wake up Anderson: let's do it right next time. BTW: Wesker sucks in the movies.

I'm definitely having mixed feelings about this. It's a spin that could go well but then again it could go horribly wrong and critics and fans alike will just bash him for it. Don't make yourself sound stupid talking about 'the spider may not be radioactive', you're just setting yourself up for an oncoming onslaught of ridicule. I'm still going to see this movie cuz I've been a fan of the comic, tv series, and movies for years though....so....we'lll see what happens.

uhh.....the comments alone on this story makes me laugh. I just hope that Michael Bay doesn't pull a M. Night Shalalalamalan and ruins a great franchise....like "The Last Airbender"--dear lord that movie was horrible, I mean you couldn't even call earth-benders EARTH-benders. But anyways, will he at least make Michelangelo still be in love with pizza? mmmm....pizza.

@Justin-Neault .....that is probably the best point made that I've read so far. The only other thing that Michael Bay can do to expand on the story is say that the ooze came....from....outer....space??? Oh. Wait. I just figured out the script! Michael Bay, your secrets have been revealed! I really don't know how much you can expand on that sir. I know he's just producing but still--screwing up original stories makes you look bad. Sometimes taking a spin--which directors love to do by the way, take Paul W.S. Anderson and Resident Evil (disappointed face -_- )--may be a good thing for some movies, and then again if you get fans heated over something and still screw it up....ummm.....autobots roll out.

this should be interesting....i mean the original show had the whole squid things going on and stuff....i can see that alien thing going on. but to make the turtles aliens is just plain stupidity. thats like the whole thing with the Jackie Chan Karate KId which should've been titled the "Kung-Fu Kid". Why in the world Michael Bay, would you take a series that has actuallly done well when it was hot back in the day, and turn it into something different? You basically just made it up. I understand why a director wants to take spins on movies--so that it can appeal to more of the public--but please for the love of God and all that is MAster Splinter....don't ruin this movie for everyone. Or you will suffer a fate worse than Sentinel Prime....financially i mean.

Soooooooo first thought was....she's not saying Ada Wong....but Ada WRONG. Don't you love how your favorite franchise can get ruined every 3 years or so? You've grown up with something that you loved and then when they finally decided to bring it to life....it falls apart like an undercooked souffle'. First I felt as if Jensen Ackles should've played the part of Leon S. Kennedy (still do, don't care if his air is too short, he could do a great job) since Johann Urb looks like a happy Leon ready to give you 2 scoops of joy in the middle of a zombie apocalypse....what? Now Bingbing Li (who was nice in forbidden kingdom) is playing Ada....annnnnnnd I'm still not feeling it. if anything maggie q or someone else couldve done it. just a suggestion. not being serious. I wish that directors would make the world a better place by appealing to people who have experienced the actual games; Paul Anderson "claims" to be a fan of the Resident Evil franchise..... look at my face (-____________-) i don't think so. So how bout that pumpkin sp*ce latte at starbucks???

Should i cry now or later??? What does it take for directors to realize that sometimes, SOMETIMES, if you stuck by the original storyline.....probably twist the storyline by 8% so that it wouldn't be that predictable.....get some people that actually look/fit/can actually fit the part for that specific character (cuz Chris Redfield looked terrible in "Afterlife").....follow the franchise true to its nature....don't be cheesy......give a better story and not become redundant in every movie...or appeal to the gamers needs or anyone who has actually played that game that you will have both satisfaction for gamers/originators and newcomers to that series. It seems to me that Paul Anderson does not get the concept. No disrespect "Mr. Anderson", but if you wanted to do a really great job....you would have stuck to the series like it should be. I grew up with Leon S. Kennedy, first RE game was RE2 and i loved it; then played 1-5 and it seemed as if the ones with Leon were the greatest. Johann Urb.....not Leon. Johann looks too happy. Not enough mystery/bad-a$$ behind him. Get the priotrites straight MR. ANDERSON.....or suffer the consequences--aka more hateful comments and me wasting my money on you only because i am a TRUE FAN of resident evil.....anybody want go to starbucks?
