I thought it was a comedy when I first read it. And it could so be a comedy I would actually go see. All those situations as he tries to hide the evidence. One of those comedy of confusions, where everyone knows something that someone else doesn't know, mistaken identity, that genre. And you had to go screw it up by making it a horror. F*ck you for ruining it for me.

Isn't this one of those cases of 'just because we can, doesn't mean we should'?

This project is killed. It truly was bad writing. I mean, it did have it's moments, but it just wasn't working overall.

Raimi said he's staying for 6 films. Tobey and Kirsten are the ones in danger of leaving.

I can be a snob if I want to. I've earned that right by seeing 4 - yes, count them, 4 - 4 FRENCH films. As I have seen nearly half of all French films I am so much more prestigious and classy than anyone else here. Check AND mate.

Oh dearest forum frequenters, I bid you adieu.
I leave my home country on the 21st of January to go to Belgium, for a year. Unfortunately, for you hapless net perusers, this neccesitates my absence from your digital lives. In all my European cavorting, I won't have time to plug myself in to the forum. So now is the point for you all to say "So sad, too bad, c'est la vie". Or, alternatively, "I thought you'd left already". Or, considering the influx of registration, "Who the hell are you?". |

My coolest present by far was an Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman notebook. So delightfully kitsch.

I didn't think the score was especially fantastic. Not to say it was bad, it just wasn't on par with everything else. I always figured a movie like King Kong needs a big memorable theme - like Jurassic Park's theme or the theme to Star Wars. The only time the soundtrack struck me as being really fantastic was during the vine section of the T-Rex set piece, where it was removed. It really heightened the tension as you just hear the animal sounds of Kong and the T-Rexes and those slow creaks of stretching, breaking vines.

"Our Nic" as we so casually refer to her was born in the island of Hawaii. Australian raised, not Australian born. Same goes for Russel Crowe and Hugo Weaving.

Pixar without dreamworks is gonna suck...
When did they have anything to do with each other? Cars does look pretty dodge, but I'm willing to chance myself on it, purely for the sakes of their previous track record. |

You're probably right, Banshee. I'd feel uncomfortable going out to see a cowboy movie too.
