@Tha Phoenix Let me get this straight, Megan Fox (bad acting), Shia (annoying in large doses) and Bay (often lacking substance in his films) are gone and we are left with the Transformers franchise (awesome franchise with exciting possibilities) and Spielberg as the director (one of the best) and THAT'S when you'll jump ship? Hmmmm

Very fun, entertaining movie.

Can't believe the positive reaction to this. This CGI dominated movie (/cartoon) looks all over the place and the CGI is very distracting.

Feels like they got some casting perfect (Jai White) and some just way off. J. Cage is supposed to look like an established movie star. This kid screams "tool"; extreme martial arts, popped collars, etc. The original J. Cage character was modeled after Van Damme so it's not that hard to replicate. The "realistic" feel is starting to get boring FAST.

My number 1 most anticipated movie. Tarsem is one of a kind.

@skywise The mythology is a big part of this film and it's really cool because they go into all the Nordic folk stories and origins of the "trolls". That was one of my favorite parts.

Michael Jay White is pure talent. Watch Undisputed 2 to see some amazing fight scenes (although Scott Adkins outshines him in that film). And nothing beats the YouTube clip of MJW teaching Kimbo Slice how to punch, hilarious. I really wish this turns out good but I really think it won't.

@boondock Yeah, "LEGACY" implies some kind of tribute to mortal kombat. So far, I haven't seen a single thing about this project that says "mortal kombat", just the names. The director says he's a huge MK fan and he'll incorporate the magic/mysticism elements but so far, NOTHING. We get a gun fight between Jax and some random dude. Half way through the fight they go for another gun again! Yeah, because MK is about gun fights.

No where in that clip did you feel like you were watching a Mortal Kombat fight scene. NOWHERE! Very campy with crappy editing. Looks like a straight to dvd action flick. So much for "realism is cool" thing. Bah, this blows.

Something looks off. The background is perfect but the 2 actors are too "clean" and look like they belong in a twilight movie. Bah. Just one photo. Hope I'm wrong.
