These books mean so very much to me. I myself am a more passive Katniss. I fight in my community or "district" if you will, to improve the quality of living for everyone, or at least I try my best. I just LOVE dystopian novels and this one is BEYOND my favorite. I can even fathom winning this contest, but I figure I'd give it a shot. This would be on par with attending the very first Harry Potter premiere. Could you imagine!?!?!? This book has changed me so much. I am a pretty pitiful person. I don't give my all at anything and don't contribute to society nearly as much as I want to, but Katniss changed that. She engages in a fight to the death AND WINS. I find so much inspiration in that almost everyday. "What would Katniss do?" has become a sort of mantra in a way. In fact, I think I'll run off now to make a bracelet with that on it!
