I deserve to win this not just for me, but also for my sister. We are both giant fans of the books, and have bonded immensely over them. We are across the country from each other at different colleges, but we make time to talk to each other about these books. My sister and her boyfriend of 8 - yes, EIGHT - years, recently broke up. I've never seen her so upset and withdrawn. There were days over break where she would just be in her room the whole time, I felt upset that I couldn't help her. I know that if I were to win these tickets (she would be going with me), it would give her something to look forward to. It would provide a distraction for her, and hopefully make her smile again. Obviously I want to win this because I really want to go too, as I am obsessed with this series. In fact, I have spent the past 2 weeks composing my own original themes based on the books, all found on my youtube page (youtube.com/composinkid). If I wasn't a true fan, I wouldn't have spent all that effort and time creating 7 (with more in the works) original, full orchestra compositions. However, honestly the main reason I want to win these tickets is that I want to be able to put a smile on my sister's face after everything she's been through and done for me, and I want to give her a night she'll never forget.
