dicaprio may have been one of the best in the 90s, but lately hes just been a super clone of de niro. come on. the departed??? hes clearly doing de niro. we all know hes a huge fan of taxi driver, so... his most solid performances of this decade were only catch me if you can and the aviator which he was fantastic in. everything else, he's just trying too hard. hes also been miscast up the wazoo lately as well. revolutionary road? what the hell was that pretentious mess??? they should've cast russell crowe in that role. leo looked too much like a baby. i enjoyed him more when he was a pretty boy to be honest. and best actor of this generation? hardly. again. maybe of the 90s, but definitely not the 21st century. i'd say either sam rockwell or shea whigham are the best actors of this generation, no question.
