The rock star cliche plays itself out again. Of course we'll find out later is was drugs or alcohol or a combination of both...or at least something like this being the C.O.D Why do all these performers go SO wrong?

You have GOT to be kiddin' me!!! The idea of this truly shows just how out of ideas Hollywood is....if they could find a way to romanticize a turd, they would. On my I don't care scale, this one is off the charts!!!

I guess Ill never understand the term sell out. When a band has success, becomes bigger than themselves and breaks themselves down to rebuild everything (like in Some Kind of Monster) you see what they are, and what they needed to do to become relevant again, how is that a failure in any way? Experimentation and creative growth are not sell out actions. I think Death Magnetic has more likeable ttracks than the black album. Ive been a Metallica fan for 20+ years. I wish em the best of luck on this pursuit.

The top shot is f'ing fantastic! Makes me wonder though, will there be some shots where the cape is CGI to get it to move more dramatically and not get held up in the weight of it? Thats where Thor struck out for me, I wanted a Walt Simonson cape and it was no where to be found.

Riddick is pretty bad ass. Now hopefully Vin is done with the silly ass movies he was making for a while. Lets get back on the money makers for him, kick ass action...and a contemporary action hero. Stallone HAS to throw him into an Expendables movie. Maybe?

@superman81 I agree on your Batman comment, but maybe use a bit more restraint at rude comments, and homophobic retalliations. It would help people to take your thoughts more seriously.

Release date delays are BAD BAD BAD. The people at WB, the brilliant minds that are tied to DC comics, who have also plotted very deliberatly the death of Superman for real, look for the double play? As this twisted bastard of a mis conception hangs upon the brink of the big reveal two years from now, it will either be worth the wait, or be so disappointing, the wait will have finally put the last nail in the coffin for our beloved Man of Steel. Break out the old 1990's black bagged comic when Superman died, I have a feeling, this will be one he wont come back from. Im out, gonna go read some 1950's Wyne Boring Superman, classic and timeless. Poor WB numbskulls. Rest in peace Kal El, we'll always remember the good old days.

So this reboot may help Spidey gain credibility again. After SM3 I thought the webslinger would suffer a long absence from the cinema while studios execs got all their webs in a row. Well, we will see....I like (but dont love) the new Spidey suit. A lot like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Spidey will be sold on Andrew Garfields Peter Parker, and his relation to Aunt May and Uncle Ben. The main motivator (and getting it right) is hard to find. This Balance is what made SM1 and SM2 so good. What do you guys think?

I dont get the haters....Transformers is just a popcorn movie. Makes you laugh, great to look at, and a ton of fun. Ive never over analized ANY of the movies, and each of them is in our collection at home. If someone were interested in a well thought out highly developed story, Im sure there are plenty of oscar winners out there. Too boring for me, give me a Michael Bay movie anytime. From Bad Boys to Transformers. Just a fan. Simple as that.

Maybe the run of lackluster films has gotten the powers that be a little antsy? Maybe now, like in other businesses, these guys are realizing it takes more than tights and a cape to sell tickets, there HAS to be something more. You cant just throw crap out there and expect it to be gobbled up simply because its there. FX driven films will fall like a rock, if theres not a solid core to the story.

How many ways can you say "waste of studio budget?" oh wait I know, one way..."Footloose remake"?? Paramount should spend money on winnig back Indiana Jones fans for a fifth and "best of them all" kind of final installment. Who'll sing the title track, Justin Bieber?

Why would this need a re boot? Thats a HUGE mistake on the part of Universal. How can you one up Anthony Hopkins, and Hugo Weaving? Emily Blunt plays an amazing part and is wonderful too. Rick Baker wolf FX are without compare. "Wolfman"... well, Its my favorite of the universal Monster remakes, and to redo, and make it "more" lke the 1941 original...wasnt this most recent one done this way? Wow.

Cooper added a tremendous amount of credibility to Superman and Superman 2, although NOTHING could save Superman 3 and 4; how he played off Christopher Reeves bumbling Clark Kent only added to the charm of the first two films. His contribution to Superman's history is greatly admired and appreciated! Thanks Jackie!!`
