well honestly... I had realized that the Hunger Games trilogy were my FAVORITE books when I finished the books and found myself still thinking about the plot line days and days later. I had even tried to encourage my dad to take me hunting and insisted that I would only go if I used a bow; unbeknownst to him it was all because of a book :).I have actually never felt the need to go to a premiere before this one. Usually, I never actually enter in stuff because I never win. When I was younger, each year at a swim meet I would enter into the raffle for a free swim suit or bag, and I NEVER won. Out of my 18 years, I have never won a raffle, but I didn't care most of the time because the prizes didn't seem worth much to me. However, this one does. The Hunger Games really touched me at heart, making me imagine that if I were Katniss, would I be able to handle the things she went through with such courage and strength. While reading, I imagined myself as a character in the book. I imagined what strategies I would have used, what district I might have been in and who would have been my allies. Out of all the books I have read, this was the first to really draw me in to the story line, always wondering what Katniss would do next, and always thinking how the people back home must have felt watching her every move of life or death on a tv screen. I know don't if I deserve the tickets, but I would definitely be blessed by them. I would LOVE to see the movie come to life and compare scenes from my imagination with the ones playing on the screen. ( Especially the scene where Rue was in deaths grip and Katniss sung her that sweet lullaby that filled my book with droplets of wet spots.) Seeing the actors and actresses that helped make the book come alive would be AMAZING and incredibly memorable. It would be the first time I would be able to experience going to a premiere of a movie, and living in California... all the other states have expectations of meeting famous people that you just have to meet ! Hehe I guess what Im trying to say is that I would be undeniably grateful for those tickets!!! But I mean who wouldn't ;)
