This is the story of Bill Pearson, a family counselor struggling to understand his own family. His wife, Susan Pearson is a stay-at-home mom determined to keep her family in line. They have 3 children, Trent, Lauren and Bryan. Trent and Lauren are teenagers struggling to find their own way and trying to get away with what ever they can.
