Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) will make a second guest appearance on ABC's talk and entertainment program The View on Friday, March 28 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), his only morning entertainment talk show appearance next week. Mr. Obama's no-holds-barred interview, to tape Thursday, March 27, will touch on topics including his relationship with his wife and family, religion, his recent remarks on race, the Iraq war, the economy, politics and life on the campaign trail.

"I am really looking forward to my return visit to sit down with the ladies of The View," said Senator Obama.

"Obviously this is a huge day for The View. This is a critical moment for Senator Obama, and we will be devoting most of the show to his interview," said The View executive producer Bill Geddie.

Mr. Obama's first appeared on the show in November, 2004 to promote his book, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance." The Senator was scheduled for a return visit on September 27, 2007, however the appearance was postponed because the Senator was due in Washington to cast his vote in support of legislation to expand prosecution of hate crimes.

The View features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations. Since its launch, The View has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host. Visit The View on the Web at ABC.com (keyword: theview). The program is broadcast in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound.

The View is produced by ABC Daytime and Ms. Walters' Barwall Productions, with Ms. Walters serving as executive producer along with Bill Geddie, who also serves as executive producer for The Barbara Walters Special.

The big question is whether Elizabeth will be allowed to ask Obama any tough questions or Barbara & Bill declare it be another love fest so he can be fawned over. Something tells me if Elizabeth tried to ask anything the other three will shout her down, just as they have done for the past few weeks.

My school still has the pledge, but i don't say it. Every fucking day the it's "please stand for the pledge of allegiance" on the announcements. Sure, i put my hand over my heart, but i don't say it. Doesn't need to be everyday. But obama's a bastard. I don't trust the guy. He doesn't even look at the camera when he gives speeches(which is all he's good for), he keeps looking left and right. U never see his eyes.

One day we young people will be in our parents place and we will have control. Putting your hand 0ver your heart for a pledge not allowed in schools means nothing. The pledge has been out of shools since I was in the fifth grade. There is more to being patrotic, it what you say and what you do. the pledge is meaningless ever since they took it out of schools.

One thing that still boggles me is how Obama expects to win when he doesnt even stand and put his hand on his heart for the pledge. Talk about being UNpatriotic
