Jamie Chung Is Samurai Girl

Jamie Chung has signed onto the upcoming ABC Family Channel drama Samurai Girl. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is the actress' first major role in a television series.

Chung will play Heaven, a teenage girl who must deal with her rich adoptive family as well as the ancient Samurai traditions of her blood ancestors. The series is based on a novel of the same name.

The show is scheduled to go into production before the end of the year. It will premier in early 2008.
