Here we are at what would have been the series cliffhanger for Smallville had the WGA strike not ended. And based on the previews, this episode will have Clark and Kara coming up against not one Luthor but both of them, as well as Braniac. And, if the blurb on the CW is to be believed, Kara will teach Clark to fly. So, let's see how well Veritas lives up to its hype.

That's the big problem guys! Lana is so in to the whole thing now... they are so "in love", that the only way for the whole Clark and Lois thing to start next season is for Lana to go "capute"... so the only way for her to leave, in my opinion, is to die. Because, common... Clark would DEFINITLY not leave Lana for Lois... so, in my view, it's the only way! Unless they make another piece of crap up like when everyone else left the show.

So much for Clark learning to fly in this episode. Has for Lana dying, if always felt she was holding Clark back all the time, he seems to take a back seat a lot in the show. Judging by the preview for descent it looks like Lionel Luthor is about to bite the big one.

I think they shouldn't take Lana off the show because she loves Clark and Clark and Lana finally have a chance to make their relationship work so don't take her off the show!!!!

Nã... Lana's gonna die man! Remember, eventually Clark has to start falling in love with Lois! They can't change the story... and for that to happen, they gotta take Lana out of the equation. Chloe is essencial to the show. Thay can't kill her off.

My opinion on this is possibly Chloe using her powers to heal Lana and this is the end of Chloe. Remember Clark had warned Chloe that if she used her powers again, she may not recover since each time she has used them, it was getting more and more dangerous.

We all know Chloe loves Clark, but she loves him enough to give him what he loves more...Lana. Perhaps this will be the true cliffhanger at the end of the season.

We know someone big in the cast is getting killed off, and my guess it is Chloe...
