Anchorwoman has been cancelled after only one airing. According to Variety, the hour-long Fox series debuted with just a 1 rating and a 3 share in the 18-49 adult demographic.

The remaining four episodes of Anchorwoman will now stream for free on Fox's website. The reality show followed WWE diva Lauren Jones as she attempted to anchor the news for a small Texas TV station.

KYTX owner Phil Hurley, who owns the station that hired Jones, stated, "We're disappointed. We hadn't seen the show until Wednesday night, and laughed at everything that came up. We'll be just fine."
